Intellectual elite, subjugating the masses, construct of psyches... sounds like a commentary on human political history, and some not yet historical. Politics is one of those subjects I prefer to steer away from on line, but I like the subtly of the comic and that fact that any side in a debate has the potential to use it in an argument.

edit: *epiphany* Holy crap! All politicians are soulless golems?

As I commented a few comics ago, I haven't managed to play this far in the game any of the times I played FF. The first play through I ever did, my game got blanked right after the Fire Fiend. Since then, I never bothered getting past the Earth Fiend in any of the later remakes.

As such, I honestly have no clue what the Golem is supposed to say. Walkthroughs say the "Robot speaks gibberish", but I haven't managed to find a transcript... so I just got creative. Gotta love movie quotes.
