Which begs the question, exactly what sort of crowd is this?

Not the kind that would appreciate the proper places to hide a body. So, you know, not the heroes from 8-Bit theater.

Do you realize how hard it is to do a FF-parody without doing anything 8-Bit? Stupid comic...

Stupid, or so genius that it took all the good ideas?

They really aren't good ideas. I read halfway through the comic back in the day, and I have to say I got bored with the flat-characters and one-dimensional "plots". It's easy to make a story that isn't 8-Bit. All you have to do is write a story.

But, if you try to do anything with sprite characters, have them be both humorous and anti-heroes at the same time, apaprently you've stumbled into the wide domain of 8-Bit. They have a lock on that storyline.

Oh, I knew you were joking. I was just storing up that rant.

I really hate 8-Bit Theater.

I gave up when it stopped feeling like the characters were making any forward progress. So, yeah... long, long ago.

I also stopped reading it years ago. It had a few funny moments, but I got tired after a while.

That, and the author made my brother waste several days of work.

My brother offered to make a small videogame based on the comic. He said "sure, go ahead". My brother made the game, sent it, and never got a reply.

I understand he sent a couple of e-mails later and none of them were answered.

Well, from what I understand, the dude is a douchebag. I figure that's par for the course.
