Title: 12/29/09 [CVRPG III #1149] - Curse of the Full Moon
Post by: Destina Faroda on December 29, 2009, 02:07:32 AM
My ears had been perked up since the mama described the quest...

Remember the old poll?  Does this mean it's FINALLY coming to fruition?  I mean, Darkmoon has been traveling by himself now and now would be the time to introduce a new companion...Do I smell new sprites coming?  Or is that just my inner...well, I don't have an inner anything.

(I'm being deliberately vague, but Darkmoon knows what I'm talking about, but as obvious as I am, I think everyone else is too.)

Crud... now I'm going to have to go archive-diving, again.  :U

edit: Wait... are polls even archived?

Sadly, no. The old poll system was two servers back and is long gone.

Destina is hinting at the poll I once posted asking people what new character type they'd like to see. The winner was a lycanthrope. I have a character in mind for that, and it will show up... at some point.

The second place character was a golem, and I've send implemented him (obviously).

Ah, noted. And thanks for the heads-up before I began the dive. That saves me, what, one, two months of my life?  :B

Yeah, and with the way I bury plotpoints and secrets left and right throughout the series, you'd never have known, really, if you'd found it or not until the character finally appeared... or the comic finally ended.

or the comic finally ended.

*cue ominous music* or *cue wild fandom speculations/theories*

eh, what the heck, cue both.

That non-answer has me on TEH EDGEZ!!  >:3

Well, at least now we're getting some expository information.  Given before, weres were limited to short gags and mentions, there's a greatly increased likelihood of something happening, sooner rather than later.

As far as dangling plot threads, I'm still waiting for that Child of Fate business.  And for who hosted the Vampire Party...and Alec's Message...and...

Alec's Message: Get the fish, not the chicken.
Who hosted the Vampire Party: The Marque de Sade.

As for the Child of Fate... well... that might come up again later...

Oh, and there's a whole slew of other things you haven't even mentioned yet.

Marque de Sade.is the namesake for Sadism if I'm not mistaken. That should tell you something about him :\

He can do this thing with a cheery stem that would make a sailor and a prostitute, both of whom were in the middle of one of the most disturbing sexual encounters seen this side of Ancient Greece, blush.
