Jyrras seems awfully nonchalant that his rooftop deathtraps just offed someone, even if it was just a weirdo in a red suit :P

He's an engineer.
Engineers solve problems.
Someone dieing is an unsolvable problem, so he's moving onto the next most obvious problem.

Oh no, Santa's fried theirs only one thing to do.

Jyras can rebuild him.

He has the technology.

He can make him Fatter.
He can make him Jollier.
He can make him on Budget.

He is the "Six Million Dollar Santa" :P

P.S. Sorry gang with not getting that right the first time. It's just that it has been such a long time since I last reached into my brain and pulled out an old T.V. reference.

"Hey look buddy, I'm an engineer, that means I solve problems.  Not problems like 'What is beauty?', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy.  I solve practical problems.  Fr'instance...How am I going to stop some big mean mother hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer...use a gun.  And if that don't work...use more gun.  Like this heavy caliber, tripod-mounted, little 'ol number designed by me...Built by me...and you'd best hope...not pointed at you."

~TF2's "Meet the Engineer"

That's all I could think of upon reading that.

With present bazookas.
AWWWW... YEAH...
(Hey, I'm a mech addict, kay?)

I have a feeling that there will be more "oopses" along the way. ("Hey kid, here's your present!" *whooOOMPH* "Oops. Maybe I should have chronied the presentookas.")

Side note- donation drive! Save Christmas yourself! (Without the usual mishaps and/or large explosions.)

As far as things possibly getting worse, remember that Mab had said that one of her friends might end up destroying the world (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1035.php).  An army of self-replicating indestructible Santas with projectile present dispensers would be one way to do it.

As for possible endings, there was the Futurama episode where the universe was destroyed, but it turned out that it was a simulation of what might have happened if Fry hadn't been frozen.

It could turn out to be a dream, with Deathbringer waking Jyrras up so that he can go see the local department store Santa.  In which case, Jyrras might reply that he doesn't think that he could face Santa that day.

He could wake up and decide that he has to make presents for his friends.

He could wake up and decide that the presents that he had made for his friends were a little over the top.  (Such as an atomic powered nutcracker that can crack the earth's crust as easily as it cracks walnuts.)

Isn't this the non-Canon Christmas strip? I doubt it will have any ending so coherent.

"Canon should not be confused with cannon. However, cannon can be used to enforce canon."
xP sorry, I just immediately thought of that, and it is quite appropriate... xD

I too shall attempt to donate, as soon as I figure out how.  This information will be very useful to those who write fan-fiction.

Who knows, maybe the Red Queen of Jyraneth Clan will be amongst the twelve after all.  That would be awesome.

Every time I hear about the Red Queen, I think of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland for some strange reason.

Sadly, I do not have the resources or the freedom from my college work and overbearing parents to visit an anthro convention. :(

The closest convention to where I live is Furry Fiesta, and even that's a 6 hour drive away. :cry

And the conventions always seem to include Mondays, never just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Mondays are usually when the most important lectures occur and when assignments are due.

Hey, tacos make for a delicious dinner :O (Lives somewhere where Taco Bell or the equivalent doesn't exist)

I know it's non-canon and stuff, but I'm curious about what species Santa would be in DMFA... although if my guess is correct, he might not even be organic anymore once Jyrras's done ...

I had a dream the other day.

A 72 hour DMFA Anthrocon Taco Party

The serving/warming table was in the form of a giant self-propelled pinata.

As it rolled towards the room, built in speakers blasted music (to the tune of Macho Man):  "taco, taco man.  I want to eat some tacos."

There was a conga line of DMFA fans behind it.

Not meaning to derail it too much, AC generally runs from Thursday-Sunday.  Thursday is setup day so not much officially happens but the Zoo is open and people will hang out there.  I think you can also collect your badge that day as well.  Friday-Sunday are the 'con proper.
Monday is teardown day but it is not unknown for people to disappear Sunday night because they couldn't book Monday off at work or whatever.

Wow, Anthrocon is all the way over in Pennsylvania.  I'm 21 years old, and yet Hell will have to freeze over before my parents let me travel all the way up there.  How pathetic is that?
If I work really hard, I might be able to convince them to let me drive to Dallas for Furry Fiesta, but anything beyond that is a no-go.

Besides, first-class plane flights are expensive at around $1800 and I'm not flying coach after how 9-11 ruined it.  And even first-class might have to have their IDs checked 2 dozen times and be eligible for random cavity searches. *shudder*

9-11 ruined most modes of travel, except the bus or driving myself, and that would take an additional week to get to where I'm going and get back, so yeah, I generally do not want to travel to far off places.

If I were to attend Further Confusion, something I've been wanting to do for years now, I'd drive myself there and merge it with a trip to Los Angeles to visit my grandmother and some of the theme parks that city has to offer, most likely including Legoland.

Basically, I need more of an excuse than just a convention to convince myself to visit any place beyond the Houston area and to try to convince my parents to let me visit that place.

I fly "coach" fairly often, and security is always a breeze despite my initial concerns when I started flying a few years ago. And I'm pretty sure security is identical for first-class. If you're interested, I would suggest packing light and avoiding checked bags if possible, and read the TSA and airline site for the basic routine beforehand. And if you dress and act professionally, security will treat you professionally.

Houston Hobby and the Pittsburgh airport seem to be some of the nicer ones in terms of security, as well. I travelled to AC2009 from Houston and will doing so again for AC2010. Also considering Furry Fiesta, though I'm rather unsure about that one for various reasons (unrelated to the con itself).

Anyway, not sure how much I should talk about all this in this thread, but please feel free to PM me about them if you like...
