Post by: Brunhidden on October 02, 2009, 12:56:22 AM
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/Brunhidden/100_4483.jpg)

just had FIVE teeth pulled yesterday

sorry but i couldn't resist tricking people to see what it looks like

yes, i was awake for the procedure

yes, there was much blood.... also cracking, snapping, and for some reason drilling

and as of yet i have no idea if it affects my voice as it hurts to talk what with my jaw being swollen and difficult to open my mouth. for the next several days im not able to eat anything more solid then mashed potatoes...

damnit, i thought i put this in the villa. how do i delete/move or whatever?

although, on second thought grossing people out is a classic game- i still ask people if they want to feel my tumor every now and then

Don't worry about it Brun, this should be okay, and if not, I'm sure one of the Mods will be happy to move it for you. For varying definitions of the word happy. Oh wait this is the arena...

I dunno. I think it's pretty good right here. ;-]

Needs a bigger picture, though.

Feel sorry for you man. My mom had most of her front top teeth pulled so now she wears false teeth in their place.

Nice, Brun. I remember having at least that many pulled in one visit years ago before getting braces. But they weren't permanent teeth... Hope you have a quick recovery.   :januscat

I've had teeth removed, but only one at a time. Not fun.

I think I lived on soft foods and Panadeine for some days afterward...

day 4 of the pudding and yogurt diet

anyone know if the sockets left when you pull a tooth heal shut?

They should. Are you planning on getting false teeth to fill in the gaps?

Based on my own experience: They do heal, but they'll probably be tender for a while.

You'll want to be fairly careful when chewing. And very careful when brushing...

Hope that helps.

oh man i've had three or four extractions done
it is not fun
and that's not including the four wisdom teeth that got pulled
and then there's the reconstructive work done on my teeth
every one has a filling
every god damn one

i got this problem where even if I do brush(and I do), they still decay.
I've had root canals done on about 30-50% of my teeth

Well I can in a tiny way relate with recently getting braces. But I realize the drastic diffrences in pain and other such things so it is a bit of a weak comparison but innability to chew is somewhat familiar.  :<
