Rule of Funny, sir.
Meanwhile, I see that the old "people will buy anything if a celebrity once owned it" rule is in full effect on Furrae. Also, I see that the Nutmeg-and-Jy-having-the-same-pants-size joke has
finally paid off... unless Nutmeg someday saves Jy's butt by claiming that "You wear the same size pants as Nutmeg!" At which point Jy adds another reason to his "Reasons Why Fae Are Completely And Totally Frigging Insane" List.
He looks like a pouty schoolchild. I think it's the combination of the book over the head, the lack of glasses, and that I only ever saw shorts worn in primary school.
And the height issue, but I'm not allowed to comment on things like that, being in the same boat and all.
And just to steal the thunder of everyone who follows: Yes, Nutmeg's rear end is very nice.

I can't remember, does he actually need his glasses? I'd notice an immediate difference should they be removed from my face.

No, he only wears them because of something Dan said when they first met.
Edit: Also, I really want Albanion in the last frame as a wallpaper. Pity the image is so small.
This proves my theory: The Fae are made of pure Elemental Win.

Is it just me or is Amber really starting to develop a trend of stripping the characters she draws? These appear to be all the strips Amber has drawn of her or others' characters getting stripped, in chronological order. Let me know if I missed any (and I probably have):
Abel de-dressu Aary (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_587.php)
Wallpaper Wars Abel Stripping Dan (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/WW03_0280.php)

Today's Strip (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1032.php)

Well Albion has got his revenge and has help find a new way to help Mab protect Jy-Jy.
Not only does this make him to much of a high profile target for the creature counsil, But it also maintains the image of Fae revenge by drawing more antention to him then he wants and gets him pants five times. :P
Now will Amber have a series of of the poor mouse getting pants in the comic at the end of every comic that he's drawn in or will this most likely happen of panel and mentioned in some time later of his five missing pants?
Am I going to be the first to make a boxers or breifs joke?

I tend to get caught up in things too much and go overboard so I'll be a good girl and not post anymore crap if I can help it. Just straight up comic comments and if I have to debate stuff make sure it has a point.

I take it that Albanion is a master of Ninja Undressing, and that he unpants'd Jyrras while he was hiding his face under the magazine.

I'm smart enough to read and watch where I'm going.
It gets more suprising when I pull out a mini-journal, use my right hand+book as a desk, write something, all the while I'm reading and somehow not bumping into things.

*Reads book on Latin*
The secret art of reading whilst walking (bookjutsu?) is largely dependant on how well you know the area you're walking through, how level the ground is, and how absorbed you are in said book (i.e. can you still hear/smell the outside world or are you on Planet Lala?)
Normally I can walk about fine in my house, parents house, and anywhere I've been enough times to memorise the obstacles. And if the place has a flat level surface and no immediately obstacles then that's even easier. I tend to read the words and still be able to hear the outside world so I can carry on a conversation whilst reading (although my concentration isn't great) and even cross the road safely if I can hear cars but then we do have crosswalks so that's fairly easy, you just listen for the beep.
However its advised not to practice the art whilst walking downstairs unless you want a broken neck. Or whilst cooking. I've done that before and have burns, scalds and knife scars all over my hands for my troubles. Not to mention severely mucking up any recipes I've been making.
Bear these simple rules in mind and you too can become a master in the art :mowninja
What still confuses me is what basis Mab and Albanion implied that Jyrras is the most eligible bachelor. Is it his sweeter than sugar personailty? His dashing good looks? His wealth? His power? His intelligence? Is he a generous lover? Does he smell like strawberries? Does he?! DOES HE?!?!

IIRC, currently he has right to be called "His Excellency", which makes him cringe even more.
Anyway, since Sybil started enforcing Good Expensive Boots(tm) on him he rarely have a chance to do the kind of streetwalking we were talking about, thus I decided that a reference to the "Captain" part of his career was more appropriate.

As far as Vimes, I can't help but be reminded of an Einstein quote:
"To punish me for my contempt for authority, fate made me an authority myself."
Appropriate for Vimes, no? :)
Anyways, I can't help but wonder if, given the rate that everyone seems to lose clothing in this strip, if any beings or creatures end up moving to the "clothing more optional" towns simply because it's too expensive to keep themselves clothed. :mowcookie
