Okay, the situation is this.
Ren's phone line has gone down after a storm, but he hasn't yet been in a position to bring the strip to work where he does have a connection.
If the line is still down this evening, I might run some filler this week instead as we would then be looking at a Tuesday/Wednesday update or worse. It would help us get ahead of the game again, though. Trailing it by several days sucks.
I think a filler every now and then doesn't hurt. Besides, they can be funny.

Ah, were you expecting me to introduce our semi-permanent female cast member? We're still two strips away from that. Hence my frustration - if Ren hadn't gone away or had his comms breakdown, she would have appeared on the 31st.

Ok I know this is a silly question, but do you mean creator as in a "real world" person or is she some sort of AI program robot thing made by some "comic world" character?

In my opinion all cartoon artist are evil. They find a leading character or minor character and throw some part of their life or mentality into a blender. Tape seems to be no different.

Indeed. The way I see it, the base is cooler than the rest of the headquarters, but only by about 5 degrees or so (centigrade). For one, they are able to dump some of the heat from the power plant into the base to heat their water/radiators.
More frigging filler. Thanks to Kipiru for giving us something to look at until Ren gets back online.
