Title: 04/07/09 [Project Filler] - Daryil's new outfit
Post by: Jairus on July 04, 2009, 09:17:41 AM
Dammit, Daryil! Can we get at least one bit of fanservice where you aren't somehow ruining it? Oh well. Ruby looks good, BTW. Pity about the knock on the head. I hope she recovers quickly. As for Daryil... I presume "Cubi are shapeshifters" is the reason he fills the outfit out so well?

Well, he _could_ make himself look just like Ruby. If he really wanted to.

Obviously he doesn't. I... don't wish to think about the reasons for that. ;-]

'Cubi shapeshifting can also be made to affect the clothes they're wearing...

... if, and only if, those clothes are the product of the shapeshifting. Which in this case, they aren't, cause he pinched them.

Or, at least, that was my impression.

He should switch to symbiotic clothing like I did

I was never quite sure of that. In the scene where Aary shows Dan (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_385.php) how it works, it's not clear whether the dress/sailor suit are real or shapeshifted. And are we sure Aary's dress wasn't shapeshifted because of Abel's "distraction" (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_587.php) move? I think we need more info to know for sure how it works.

If you go checkout Aary's live journal, it states that cubi can separate they're shapeshifted clothing from they're body, if they are skilled enough.

... No, Garsemor, I'm pretty sure I didn't say that.

So all of you actually think a well built guy like Daryil needs magic to fill up some tight female clothing :necro

And what's wrong with the idea of cubi being capable of extending their shapeshifting powers on to their clothing- so they can change them at will, but if torn off, they'll be just clothes.

Early update on 'Walk in the Woods'.  The main comic will update either Friday evening or Saturday with the comic Ren finally managed to send me during AC.
