It's just so frustrating you?

First there is all the espenses involde with a funeral.  then it was fighting with the funeral home  cause they weren't happy with what we wanted, then there was finding outmom isn't eleagable for any of dads benifits, his pension, social security, or the va.  Nothing at all cause mom makes to much money.  on top of that mom's near nerves breakdown has left her unable to work so it's just me and my sister trying to make things work.

But I am realy glad I'm not going to be losing my suport net.

God Bless the USA, right? You set up all this stuff to take care of your family after you die, including that social security your paycheck pours into every month of your life, just to have it kept from them in the end.

Ah well, while the government may be jerks, at least your cable provider gave you a break. We're all glad you're around.

The level of irony and sarcasm in this thread is beyond healthy parameters.

In any case, it's good to have you here. And sorry about your mom and everything you've had to go through.

It's good to know not all cable providers are evil soulless fish.
Just imagine the horror you would go through if you had to wait for yet another person to come over and reinstall your internet D:
...
And welcome back, bunneh. :3

Good hear that, Hare.  ITOS, most DSL systems (ATM, Ethernet etc) support rate throttling.  The same physical link has a maximum data rate, but is usually artificially limited to a lower rate, e.g. 8Mbit, 4Mbit, 2, 1, 512k, 256k and so on.  Many providers have a price structure which allows you to pick the rate/cost.  It may seem churlish for the ISPs to restrict it like that, but they have to pay for the bandwidth you use, and the faster it is the more you'll chew through, so it does make sense in the end.

There are two things I must say ...

1.) RJ, send me some of your muffins.  I wish to use them in a grandiose experiment in which I will create an explosion large enough to bring about ... nuclear winter (http://www.gamebanshee.com/freedomforcevsthethirdreich/foes/images/nuclearwinter.jpg)!

*Cue the theme song.*

Then I wouldn't have to buy a water-cooling kit for my PC!

...

Okay, that was wrong on many levels, I admit.

2.) I am truly glad to hear that our reknowned Hare shan't be leaving our presence!

NOOOOOOOOOO!!

;-; yer kitty..er..before i continue is eh kitty neutered/spayed?
Title: Re: The bunny isn't leaving after all
Post by: Rowne on July 30, 2006, 02:34:41 PM
Xze brings up a good point.  Cats at random periods of their lives can go out on prowling bouts even if they've never done it before if they're not neutered/spayed.  Sometimes the heat just takes them and they do it, sometimes it'll be a long while between when they do do it.  My last kitty was like that.

If the kitty's neutered though, then that's something to worry about.  :/  Neutrered/Spayed kitties usually don't go out prowling.

Regardless, I hope everything works out for you TGH, the last thing you deserve is misery.  You're too kind of a soul for that.

Is there any way that your family could refinance the house to allow you to stay in your home?  It may not work out, but it's worth checking into.

*hugs*

In other suggestions - are you working? If not... could you find work as a chef, perhaps? Would that be enough to make a difference?

Not that I'm suggesting you're not working hard already, I'm merely kicking ideas around. If I'm barking up the wrong tree, ask Gorn to bark at me, and I'll leave you be...

Yes Tom was fixed.  It's a requrment from the shelter we got im from.

I'm pretty sure an animal got him,  we've had close calls with the wild life around here before.  We think it's a fisher.  one of my older cats sammy was attacked by something about 6 years ago and Tom was bit by something a few months back.  We tried keeping him inside but tom hated being stuck inside.

The house was just recently refinanced,  last year I think.  I doubt a lower rate could be managed.  It sucks cause mom makes to much money to get any of dads bennifits but not enough to keep the house.

I do have a job, and I help out as est I can but It's as a butcher and it doesn't pay very well.  I'm looking for a new job hopefully something cooking but at the moment I'll take anything
Title: Re: The bunny isn't leaving after all
Post by: llearch n'n'daCorna on July 31, 2006, 03:02:17 AM
"Recently refinanced" might have been adjusting it upwards, in order to take advantage of more money coming in. Possibly.

No pressure, though. I'm not there, it's not my house, so whatever happens, it's not my neck in the noose, as it were. And yes, it sucks about too much/not enough :-/

Thanks for the info about your job, as well. :-/ Pity you're not doing what you love yet...

He's thin as a rail and was starving but he's happy now.  We think he got locked into a shed,  or down at the school (they are doing alo of work) and couldn't get out.  It was seven days stuck there but he's home now.

the reason I got arrested was rather stupid actualy

My insurance company forgot to send a file to the state  so the state suspended my licence and my cars registration with out telling me.  I got pulled over, and was arrested

Downright silly. And the in-sewer-ants company should definitely be paying you something for your time and trouble, IMHO.

Heh, something I know a little about.

The laws generally state, and this is true of states where automatic reporting occurs (California, etc.), that it remains the responsibility of the insured to keep on top of his insurance coverage and be sure it is current and promptly filed.  That holds true even if you have no control over said process due to automated reporting systems.

Should the Insurance Company take action to make amends for their negligence, yes.  Are they required to, no.  You might be able to pursue a civil case if suitable negligence can be determined, but you would virtually need a 'smoking gun' to have any actual case against them.

I wish you the best bunneh boy.
