I only heard about this recently. I don't know if anybody else has. I've checked multiple references and this is an interesting tale. I'm really going to have to check this out more thoroughly when I have time.
"Vintage 19th-century cereal box tops"?
I'm pretty sure breakfast cereal is a 20th century invention...
Nope,
Kellogg started out by running health spas and sanitariums around Battle Creek Michigan which pushed vegetarian diets back in th 1860's. A bunch of cereal companies (including Post) sprung up in the area to meet the demand. By 1900, there were something like 44 separate companies there making cereal.
You might want to look at this:
The Werewolf Knight, strip 1 (http://www.peteristhewolf.com/general/omake010.html) through 9.
Note that this is a NSFW site - the strips themselves are tame, and have nothing that most workplaces would object to - Arthurian clothing aside. Many of the other strips on the site are significantly adult, and should on no account be viewed where anyone who gets uptight over pornography can see them.
Unless you like winding people up, of course...

cereal was invented inthe 19th century.... Speaking of cereal, did you know the Kellog's guy invented cornflakes as a hormone supressant... appearently he sold cornflakes as part of a moral obligation to keep people from masterbaiting. It probably works about as well as Mountain Dew.

I
do remember reading about the brothers Kellogg and the invention of Corn Flakes, now that you mention it.
I just thought it was later than that.

Huh. Nice variation on the story. Pretty cool.
Well, I'm sure you all know that everyone in the royal line of Britain since Queen Victoria has been a werewolf.
Heh heh, see if you can figure out that reference.
I'll give you a hint: it's a bad wolf. ;)

I must see that sometime. Though if you want to see someone who honestly really believes that the UK is ruled by lizard-people, look up David Icke on youtube.

Well, as most everyone knows, the incident in question happened at the Torchwood Estate.
Well this is terrible news, everyone knows that werewolves are only functional when sat at hexagonal tables.

This is true.
Speaking of getting out, I should be at Anthrocon. Those of you I run into will receive my excellent home made chocolate chip cookies.

Heh heh, my brother has all the previous seasons on the official DVDs! I can bring it to AC if you want. They did a REALLY good werewolf design! I almost suspect a furry was involved... :shifty
