so it was brain that was getting tossed around.  I will admit for Slick to pull a head-shot under that pressure with a pistol, no less, means he is one heck of a marksman.

That must be a strong rule

Slick pwned that scout!  Even if it was just a regular bullet instead of an Efreet, he still probably would have killed her.  So yeah, he's an awesome marksman.

I'm assuming that the salsa rule means that once your brain has been turned to salsa, you can't be alive.
If that is the case, the only being that could break the salsa rule would probably be a T1000.

Chaos, look up Chunky Salsa Rule (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChunkySalsaRule) on tvtropes.

It says:
"Any situation that would reduce a character's head to the consistency of chunky salsa dip is fatal, regardless of other rules."

I just looked up that page, and lo and behold, it refers to this strip.

What a boring, trivial reference. I wonder who did that one.

Ah well, I was close.  I just read through the first section of that article, and it is interesting.  I particularly like how it is used in Shadowrun.
Still, the only character that could violate this rule would be a T1000 or some similar machine, since it can already turn itself into chunky metallic salsa and survive.  But whether or not there are any such androids in Last Res0rt is up to Jigsaw.

... inaccurately, in this case. If I'd written it, I would have said that it was referenced in the title, and commented upon in the forum thread, included a link to the thread in question and a link to the strip with the title listed, and, if I was really thinking hard, some sort of witty commentary about why it was applicable.

Salsa chunky enough to breathe is not chunky, it's more Pink Mist....

This was what I loved about System Shock.  You could lock the guy in an elevator filled with about two dozen grenades of varying destructiveness and make him sit cross-legged in the middle of them filled with enough psychoactive drugs to overdose the entire state of Texas.
Then, when you bang two of the grenades together (rightfully blowing the doors clean out of the elevator shaft), the robots still somehow manage to resurrect whatever's left.

To be honest, the resurrection machine looks more like a jelly-mould.

Hence the theory that they pour him in and leave him to set.

I would guess a reasonable "Salsa Rule" might be:
"You can't un-make salsa."
