Title: 4/28/09 - [FFC#50] - Of muffins and woks
Post by: Tapewolf on April 28, 2009, 06:37:33 AM
I, for one, am glad that we can't see what's happening there.

So, does this update mean that things are settling down, or that it was very slowly and painfully ground out?  Because really, if it's giving you extra hassle on top of everything else, we can wait.

we'll see, i'll be hopefully getting some new PC parts next week or so (yay government, it also paid a large chunk o' bills), so there may be some interruption there.  >:3

Tapewolf: if you do another song similar to "Operation Wendigo",unless Luke is actually winning, it might be best to skip over this little gem of history in favor for other parts.

On one side: Kittah's hands apparently smell like muffins among other things.
On another side: If I am reading him correctly, Bengahl apparently spent the last bit of his time on Earth watching some Sci-fi shows (at least one of which involved antimatter) and the Food Network.

Takahn wasn't the only one who had possession of Bengahl's orb.  >:3

I'm getting several very interesting mental images of what's going on off-screen. The trouble is, I'm not sure if I should be making bets and offering popcorn or grabbing for the brain bleach. At least we can be relatively sure that those involved are in decent physical shape...

Why do I have a feeling that even after Fa'lina is gone.... you STILL don't want to take SAIA's home-ec classes o.o

Maybe she counts as a "spirit guide" for Lady Milnea...or maybe she's a fictitious character in a bestselling 'Cubi novel?

First off... Is it bad that I put a Yiddish spin on the butter comment? (Like buttah, dahlink!) I think my childhood Streisand exposure is showing.  :mowdizzy

Secondly... Holy mother of Silicon, Turnsky! I think that machine runs faster than my car, and I've got a Chevy v6. That's a little more than twice what my PC can do! Does this mean we get to see more wonderful Turnsky art?

Athlon XP 3200+ (2.2ghz)
Asus A7n8x-E mobo
Seagate barracuda IDE drives (120/160gig)
1 gig ram
Radeon x850xt

it's a fairly solid rig, but the new one can actually look photoshop in the eye.

sometimes, yeah.  so far, no slowdowns yet with this rig, aaand CS4 has that nifty ability to have 3d objects imported into it.

Hey, "fun" is a good thing. This is your hobby, and while it's a good thing that it's a labor of love, it better be fun too, at least more often than it's not.

erf... if folks read the site blog, (really wishing i could embed it into the comicgen site) you'll know what's up.. but here's the synopsis..

Loki, one of my cats, got into something he shouldn't, and burnt his tongue... with what, i dunno, it's either chemical or heat.. either way, he was in poor shape today.. he's better now, anywho..

all that stress and running around ate up most of my arting spirit.. not to mention the financial hit.. seriously, $172.30? damn vets.. so yeah, i'm gonna shoot for a wednesday update, a tad more comfortable than frantically working myself into a lather trying to get it done quickly..

Point one: Ouch! Seriously, ouch! However Loki did that, I bet he's not going to try it again.

Point two: Likewise "ouch" on the vet bill and stress. A Wednesday update is much better than no update at all. I hope you and your cat start feeling better as soon as possible.

... I do have to ask...

Was it the rubbing of the head and the pang, times forty-seven? Or one rub, and then forty-seven pangs? Either is amusing, but I think the former is slightly more amusing...
