Wow... Dorcan can really move in panel 5, can't he?
Also, Oskar's face is delightfully creepy in 3 and 4.

That's like the teleportation, only without any magic - through the sheer force of fear. :B

That was so totally intentional.. >:3

The difficult part in that one was the perspective. Even now it looks a little bit like he's 14 or something.

Heh. You should have seen it before I fixed the eyes. It looked like he was on acid.
(And his real name is 'Ashley')
... snrrknle... terrified Dorcan... he's got some serious wrench-phobias he's gonna need to work out

Well,
that wrench is a one to be reckoned with. >:]
Isn't that the same wrench from System Shock?

That would be the tendency for people under frightful circumstances to undergo what is called "chibi
fearcation," wherein their tremendous fright temporarily transforms them into chibis. But frightened 14 year old works too. I also like Dorcan's eyes in panel four.

*snaps fingers* Darn it, I thought his name was Ashley but I went with Oskar. Oh well. Also, Ashley on Acid is funny too. "Dude... we could like... remove your arms with a wrench... and then hit you with them! And we'd be all like "Stop hitting yourself!"" No, wait, that's Stoner!Ashley. Never mind.

Yup: System Shock 2, but close enough.

System Shock 2, but yes it is. You win a cookie!

If that happened, Niall (as the only one present there aside from Dorcan and Ashley) could have said: "Looks like he's been..
disarmed."
..Good thing it didn't happen. :>

It put me in mind of this, actually:

**EDIT**
This, by the way is the last time Dorcan makes the D-face in this chapter, and probably all year.
awww... but i like the D: face

Originally I specified the wrench based on Turnsky's idea of Joshua's arms being detachable:
http://turnsky.deviantart.com/art/Spark-and-oil-change-83376291
Since then, we went for synthetic muscles rather than rotating actuators, and the arms became more integrated and less modular. Ideally we would have had one of Jakob's ion cutters, since a wrench isn't going to work so well, but we wanted the SS2 reference :3
No more D: from the Dork? Sad, sad day. But more D: from Joshy-boy? Yay!
Not to mention Ash looks more like a psycho with the wrench. Hehe.
Special bonus update.
