As many of you know, Ogre Battle: the March of the Black Queen has been released for the Wii Virtual Console. This is, of course, my most favorite game of all time, but I wanted to know if anyone else was planning on playing (or replaying) this game. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Is this the old SNES title I've had on my emulator since emulators existed, or is this something new?
Old SNES title.
I have the playstation version, but I have yet to play it.

sarcasm that last part was.
Anyway, it was a good game, but the N64 version, in my opinion, is better. It's a shame though, the series now-a-days seems to be suffering from the FFT(Final Fantasy Tactics) envy and scrapped the whole "two groups of characters run into each other like the dolls of two kids playing war till one falls" game mechanic for the standard tactics combat, which in hindsight was probably a good decision.

It wasn't sarcasm. I bought it on a whim and never really thought about it again.
Also, these days I don't have the time for video games anymore.

I'll agree to disagree (http://www.cvrpg.com/destina/rant005.html), and leave it at that when it comes to Ogre Battle 64. With regard to Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre was created and released before Final Fantasy Tactics, so it's actually the other way around on that issue.
