Title: Weekly webcast #003. Amber compyless edition.
Post by: Amber Williams on February 22, 2009, 07:08:49 PM
Well my compy is currently dead, which means my scanner and photoshop is disabled. But Mason's computer works which means I can at least browse and heckle my friends while they play video games.

So feel free to join us as we chatter during Soul Calibur, Deadspace, and maybe even the RE 5 demo.

Sadly there will be no update in comic tonight, so feel free to shun this.

Anyways, at the time I write this there is no audio yet, but odds are we will get chattering in about 10 minutes.

*snippet* Time has expired *snippet*

Feel free to stop in and say hi, or say hi here. Or just yell at the lack of update tonight. :U

It comes at kind of a bad time for me, llearch, and everyone else from around Europe.  Arguably I should be in bed right now...

I think that'd need a massive continental shift...

I think you mean "if I didn't have this horrible addiction." Why not sleep, since your grammar is being affected?

Say, didn't they call the Procompsagnathi in Jurassic Park and The Lost World "Compys?"

You kidding? I loved these books when I was a kid! I read The Lost World so much it fell apart and had to be taped back together, and I actually was given a hardcover copy of Jurassic Park for a birthday to replace the old one. I even replicated part of the movie's set in lego bricks, or the best I could do all things considered. I used to be a total dinosaur nut, though science has marched on since then (for the record, I think fuzzy raptors are cool).

Quite possible... It was only my first time tuning in so I was becoming rapidly confused trying to keep up with who was who.

May shuttle these over to Youtube at some point for easier playlisting....

Don't worry! It'll be back next week, same time, same channel. And they're gonna put up an archive of the whole thing, so you can watch and listen to what they were doing and saying.

The books were much better than the movies. Especially the second book. I can see why Crichton didn't write the (planned) third. Hollywood woulda just shat all over it.

Guess I was so busy this week I forgot to post the link to the clips of last week's webcast. Not a whole lot in the way of memorable moments unless you like Isaac's terminator moment.
