Okay everybody, I'm going to be blunt. Earlier today I found blood in my urine, and not a small amount either. I'm going to be going to the doctor later in the week but I'm truly worried. I'm not going to be on for awhile due to other reasons, but when I get back on I will share my fate with you. I'm hoping it's nothing serious, but if it is... well I don't want to think about that.
Anyways, just thought you should all know. Whether you consider me the same or not I do consider you all friends and the right people to tell.
Oh my God.
Well, I certainly hope it's nothing serious, and I'll be praying for you either way. Take it easy and don't worry too much.
all i have to say is 'yeeeg'
We are behind you Rakala! Hope it's nothing serious!
Dang, that sucks. I hope you fare better than I did when that sort of thing happened to me. See you later then, hopefully with the good news. :januscat
Good luck with that. If it's a kidney problem, it can be serious, so I really hope everything goes all right.
Okay people, medical exam is complete and here are the results...
I have tested negative for...
Cancer
Liver problems
Circulatory problems
However I did test positive for...
Drinking too much cherry kool aid. :giggle
doof
the nurses must be telling that one to each other as we speak
then again i recently had a problem where my wife made a special cake for my daughters birthday- the heavy duty food coloring she used to get some of the icing to be midnight blue turned half the guests poop blue for a solid week
Oh please, at least it was something reasonable to be worried about. Not like my cousin who got an eraser stuck in his ear.
or the ever classic man who called 911 to say he had bellybutton lint. i trust a padded wagon was sent over right away

That in itself is bizarre. However, I'm glad it was nothing too serious.
Yeah, good work on still being healthy. :januscat

I wouldn't say that drinking enough cherry drink to bypass the filtering in the kidneys strikes me as the epitome of health, but it could be a lot worse :P

It's not the drink that's the issue, it's the dye in the drink.
Since it's all fake cherry flavour, anyway...
*breathes a sigh of relief.* Glad to have you back in the realm of safety. Come back to our madhouse soon
Oh, I'm already back to frequently annoy the shiznit out of other forum-goers.
(laughs) Well, that's a relief.

Didn't this happen in a Stephen King book, too? I think it was a sideplot in Cujo.

It certainly happened in Skippy's List.
Edit:
#145 and #146.
