He must be really babyfaced. I can't imagine rodents having so little interaction with larger species in Furrae that people automatically assume they're kids due to the size difference. Ferrets certainly don't have this problem.

You can sell services like web design or artwork comissions on eBay. Hmm, Tez beat me to it, but I think Jyrras' interest in Lorenda is evidence that he's not necessarily gay. Were he gay I don't think he'd have even considered pursuing her. I suppose though, it could be that he's just following societal norms and that in his desperation to be with someone his mistook his affection for her as being attraction. I dunno, I guess it's really hard to say without factoring in a few other things.

I've never needed to use it, but there are a whole raft of possibilities. Amber might have forgotten the answer the the challenge question if it works that way - for example the MSDN thing asked for the name of my dog and then refused to accept it because it was less than 5 characters long. So apparently I'm supposed to rename my (deceased) dog just for Microsoft.
It might be that it's tied to a defunct email address. Or it might be - since someone here said they couldn't create an account - that they're simply having administration problems period.

I do kinda know how he feels, being rather babyfaced myself. One of the most amusing incidents occured when I was involved with an afterschool tutoring program at a local high school. When I walked through the door, the librarian looked at me and said, "I'm sorry, you'll have to leave your coat and bag in your locker."

"It's school policy." She pointed to the sign.
I laughed when it finally clicked. "I'm the teacher..."

It's one thing to be outed later in life. It's quite another to go for decades without noticing that you're attracted to other guys. I'm extremely skeptical of anyone who claims it works that way; that particular psychological condition preferentially targets public figures who need to play to social conservatives. And married guys whose wives discover they don't really go out to play poker on Thursdays. Not that kind of poker, anyway... >:]

Hmm... I don't claim to know the reasons for that policy. I could just be that they didn't want the kids leaving their stuff lying around the library. It wasn't exactly a dangerous neighbourhood or anything. They were good kids. It just amuses me that I'm still mistaken for a teenager long after graduating from university, is all...

When I read this, I immediately thought of kids using their bags or coats to steal books(Or movies/music, if the library has a selection of those also).
An instructor would need to keep his or her supplies, and would be an adult who would(in theory) be mature and *not* attempt to steel books or anything else.

My understanding was that the reason that students were to leave their coats in the lockers was to avoid "clutter". The sheer volume of coats and other protective gear was deemed not conducive to study.
Of course, the "educational experts" in the 1960's and 1970's decided to cut the size of the lockers in half. These geniuses also developed a number of schools which were divided between several buildings that were connected by unprotected walkways. (This wasn't in the warm southern climes. These were areas where the weather often dropped below freezing.) The students were still expected to keep coats in the lockers. Meanwhile, another group of geniuses doubled the size of the books while another reduced the amount of time between classes.
These "experts" were in the United States. I don't know if you dealt with the same problem in other countries.
