Darkmoon is planning on updating the DMFA website during the next week. If you have any guest art rattling around, or would like to whip some up, please PM him, or email him the files.
As far as he knows, he has posted all the files people have sent to him, and does not have any backlog. So, act fast, or be ready for more of his drawing ;)
Argh! I'd love to give some of the stuff I've been drawing, but most of it is still in pencil or really rough colorings: I haven't had time to fool with shading and stuff like that. Eh, maybe next time.
Oy, right before I'm supposed to graduate, too...
I'll think on it.
This makes me wish I had some kind of artistic talent. :<

I hear you brother.
Hmmm... I do have an old fanart of Merlitz that I did a while back.
I don't know if it would be suitable, but I can send it in.
I'm sketching something immediately. I don't know what to do so I'm improvising big time. XD I have the circle for what I presume to be a head finished.
WOO PROGRESS
Several pieces have come in, so we have things for this coming week- we're now looking for art for the first part of next week, which will give several of you more time.
Thanks guys!
I'm going to try and get a sketch out, but I can't color it and I'll have to sneak into work early in the a.m. to get it scanned since my computer went tits up in a snowbank on me. If I can get it done would anyone be interested in coloring some of my crude art?

I'm not a great colourist, and I might be a little pressed for time during the week, but I'd be happy to give it a go.
I keep threatening to do stick-figure art for one of these guest art thingies...
I have some guest art but it was done during the time was being Alexi and the comic that me and Thunderstep never finished

You have given me

I might have to do some more fan arts. We'll see what my schedule is like.
if i can squeeze out the time, i might have one for ya...
(oh god the spots!)
I did some over here:

I can't draw, so this is nothing for me. If it were writing, then maybe, but no. You'll probably never see guest art from me. So sorry.
I approve of this guest art.
I have a vague sense that this isn't the first time we've seen Pip wearing shades.

Heck no, he's had them on a couple of times, the sly devil.
To the folks saying they can't draw: Who cares? Don't do it to look good, do it to show some love and support for Amber et all. Heck, when my cousins kids draw me pictures I don't get all worked up because they're stick figures, I'm just glad they were thinking of me.
It's not that I can't draw.
It's that I never get around to actually drawing it until it's entirely too late. Far too many other things to do...
What are the quality standards here?
I could draw something half-decent, but it'd take me a month. :P
So, no Charline guest-comics!

Just start now and save it for later. That's what I'll do.
My render farm is being re-tweaked so If it gets done soon I'll PM something, if not, it will be for later usage.

I'm touchy about if it's good. And it's not.
Amber's here safe, btw. It'll be in tonight's update, but just so y'all know.
Good to hear.
I aprove of this fan service...
Inface I think thats going into my collection
I also approve of this fan service. Poor Abel... "Let's just get this over with!" Perfect!
And it's good to hear that Amber has survived the first leg of her journey! Huzzah!
After a very through examination, I have found this guest art to be composed for pure and undiluted win.

Well, that strip was the end of a three-part series, so whatever it is, it'll be something completely different.
Precisely, weather it be fanservice, a random humorous piece or both combined, is unknown till later on.
I'm going to hope for a combination of the two..unless some completely differant piece involving sorrow, anger or any other ill emotion is presented, but I can't honestly think that will happen.

I don't think the forumites will be satisfied until you get Dan, Wildy, Mab, Aaryanna, Merlitz, Pip, Jyrras, Abel in a game together where you can hit their buttons and watch them respond. Try here. (http://homepage.mac.com/bradleyross/DMFA/applet.html) I know it's recycled art, but you wouldn't want to see my art.
****
Edit:
I just tried running it using Safari and Firefox on Macintosh and on Internet Explorer using an emulator and Windows XP. I'll see if I can duplicate the problem. (I did have to try twice on XP.) However, the things that come to mind are that it may require a later version of the Java applet plugin (Java SE JRE (Java Runtime Environment) version 5 or 6 http://java.sun.com (http://java.sun.com)). You may also have to turn on Java applets ("Enable Java") in the preferences.
It's a game of "Concentration" with 18 characters represented under squares. If you uncover two of the same character by clicking on them, it removes the squares from the board until you end up with an empty game board. I was thinking of making it a little more general so that others can use it as they desire.

Make sure your browsers are up to date. Firefox is still a little shaky on vista.
I'm running the latest FF and it's on XP SP3. This is the first time I've ever had that happen.
:mowsad
Worked fine for me. I'm on the latest FF and XP SP3 as well. I was a bit disappointed that there was no reward for winning, though.
Also, having to scroll the screen makes the game a bit more difficult.
I attempted to gain assistance from the help ninjas, but their only response was to send a single, black lacquer chop stick...
That would have been helpful if you had only one, though, wouldn't it?

Did you specify what you needed help with?
On this one, I am the help ninja. I'm trying to get the code working better. Huzzahs and other pleasant sounds will be coming in the future.
Forgive me for double posting, but I made two suggestions in the previous post. You may have to enable Java applets in the preferences ("Enable Java") or load a newer version of the Java applet software from sun (http://java.sun.com (http://java.sun.com)). The code uses version 5 although I might be able to recompile to use an earlier version, perhaps 3 or 4. The web site is run by Apple, and it sometimes makes rude remarks if you are running Internet Explorer. What would you consider a reward for success?
Fireworks and applause
Having the characters go back and forth across the screen descending a row each time as in the old Centipede game.
Having Wildy shoot back and forth along the bottom, shooting the other squares as they descend, as in the old Space Invaders.
Where it doesn't work, is it one of the following.
You see a big square with a little square with a red X in it.
You see a cup of coffee on a small saucer, but the game never appears.
The browser just dies.
I am using the latest version of Java(version 6, update 7(build 1.6.0_07-b06)), in Firefox 3, and am getting the following error(see last lines). I have included all data pertaining to this, hopefully it will help:
