Yes.  Albeit very different from what we're used to.  I like her sense of humor, though.

Oh, Kria Kria Kria. Well, this promises to be interesting... especially since we have no idea whether or not Kria knows about Dan's previous involvements with Aliph.

I do love that trap though. Deadly and entertaining.

The question isn't how many hair styles a demon can go through.  It's how many a woman can go through.  Even if the woman isn't a demon, asking such a question can result in a world of hurt.

I'm pretty sure she knows who killed DP. (http://missmab.com/Comics/Vol_193.php) The question is, does she actually know that Dan is Dan?

I do agree with Kria on the name thing. I mean why bother going through the complicated process of being evil when you just use an alias.

Curse my forgetfulness. But this just hit me. Did Dan ever MEET Kria before, or know of Lorenda's half-demoness qualities? Jyrras, sure. Lorenda and the rat lived together. But I don't remember any times Kira was in Lost Lake or meeting any of the other cast members with the exception of Abel. Dan commented on Lorenda eating a hamburger before, but I think that was it.

edit- Course, I could just be dumb and all this might of happened out of the comic's focus. Who knows.

As far as we know, they've never meet before... And I don't remember Lorenda telling Dan that she has demon blood, although it must be pretty obvious for him by now anyway.

... Btw, I can now imagine a MK fatality with a trampoline and spikes

PS: About the rant, I've always wondered why Amber doesn't join TWC or at least do more advertising... It was very hard for me to actually find this comic, and I just knew about it's existance because someone mentioned it in the 2 kinds forum... Well, at least I now know why, although I would love to support this comic with voting

Unless it was confirmed by amber, we don't know thats DP the Mythos (?) is talking about. Those runes could mean anyone.

Also, love Kira's appearance. It's rare for us to see her dressed like that let alone with her wings out.

Kria looks HOT in this one, though in a send-a-shiver-down-your-spine kind of way. Guess it's mandatory for you to look sexy while resurecting someone(Look at Lorenda as well), after all you will be the first thing the resurected will see.  :zombiekun2

Note: What's with the whole "Kira" thing, her name is Kria, Kira is the alias of Yagamy Light of "Death Note".KRIA people.

Here is a question to ponder until the next update.

Why are both Kira and Lorena wearing formal gowns?

Maybe the required dress code for resurrection sermonizes has been upped recently...I guess black cloaks could be a little too "bourgeois*" for demons.

I don't usually like Kira's gown style but I think it works very well for her.
Complements to Amber for making two cows* literal look good in formal wear.

And I think Hatsuyuki  is right, that Dan has never met Kira face to face, of course he could have been told off plot at some point.  Though, I would have to read through the comic again to be sure....

@Kasarn:  What the heck?

EDIT:

I'm wondering what configuration the spikes and trampoline would be in. since Dan didn't land on the installed spikes in his fall, I'm guessing the trampoline must propel the victim back up into them.

As for Kria knowing who Dan is, she knows he's Lorenda's friend, she probably doesn't know he's Ti'Fiona, or perhaps doesn't really care.

*to the tune of the Chia pet song* K-K-k-k-k- Kri-a!

Sorry, needed to get that out of my system. Anydangway.

Kria looks quite awesome with her wings out. And for a second I thought that she was wearing that headpiece-thing Lorenda had in Janus Bond, but probably not. Also, if she's already added spikes, does that mean they don't come out till one goes back up on the eventual trampoline? Sounds fun in a way that only demon-torture can be. :3 Wonder if Kria's the smarter of the two when it comes to torment? Granted, DP has been around longer, but still, he does keep getting killed...

This ties in nicely with an old observation.

The people we think of as villians almost never see themselves that way.

And to steal a concept from Terry Pratchett , even people who torture others for a living often have realtives that they are decent to.

Its all a matter of perspective.

But that still no excuse for mimes , exterminate them all !  :zombiekun2

Now, the thing that I'm curious about is how Kria will react when she sees Dan.  Even if it doesn't click that he's the killer, is she going to invite Dan to see the ceremony on the assumption that because he's a Creature, he thinks evil is cool?

Hitchhikers and Labyrinths and Ghostbusters oh my!

I think that Kria won't care either way if Dan is there to kill Dark Pegasus with the possible exception of wasting all of the effort it took to bring him back.  I think that the assessment that folks have been tossing around about the idea that 'power = right' in Kria's eyes will stop her from caring over much.  She might find it amusing even that Dark Pegasus has been losing to Dan once she sizes him up.

I think that, according to the time line as I understand it, Hannah was killed some time before comic #1.
More importantly, as Hannah was turned to dust/ash and there is no body, though there might be ways around that.  Also, Hannah was Undead so technically not "alive" although with Undead that tends to be a little fuzzy(unless I am forgetting something in Amber's description of the race).

Great, you've given me a vision of Hannah returning in DP's body...

Anyway.  What is rather interesting to me is that they are able to resurrect DP, when Mab seemed to be telling Rose in 833 that she can't resurrect people.  I wonder if it's a limit on their power?

Demon's do respect strength.

So will Kria even take offense if she learns dan killed him?

Family seems to be the one exception to the rule if one watches how kria treats her daughter.

But if they can bring back Dark Pegasus, what's to stop Dan interrupting at the crucial moment and inserting Hannah's name instead?
Perhaps the fact that a resurrection requires the desired individual's body? Hanna's is long gone.

Anyway.  What is rather interesting to me is that they are able to resurrect DP, when Mab seemed to be telling Rose in 833 that she can't resurrect people.  I wonder if it's a limit on their power?
Maybe fae are completely unable to perform any manipulations with souls?
I don't know about that, Mab was making deals for her parents' souls. But perhaps fae can't (or won't) perform necromancy (raising the dead, etc).

that's why she would likely respect dan, specially considering Alyph is probably stronger than Kria. It's not very wise to provoke someone who killed your older brother

It's probably DP (the master of undeath apparently) attaching his soul to a crystal or something so that when he dies he can be brought back. He isn't *really* dead because his soul didn't move on (or get eaten).

Maybe like Voldemort and the horcruxes.

I did wonder, but the same cannot be said of the Undead.  If it's possible to raise them after they've been in the ground for a bit, the same presumably holds true for DP without needing anything clever like a soul-trap.

You become undead by being infected *before* you die and then being killed before the enchantment wears off.

I guess the initial creation of the undead did kind of imply that it worked on people who were actually dead first. I was thinking that it got the people who died while the spell was being cast, but it sounds like it got a lot more than that.

I had an interesting thought...

What if Kria isn't resurrecting DP out of any sort of familial devotion.  What if she does it because some one more powerfull then her makes her do it.  Maybe DP's lover, some uber powerful demon who simply can't manage the resurrection ritual, or he can't preform it because it requires a familial connection to cast.

now since this is my theroy and I'm nuts I'd picture this demon love as an ancent and powerful male of a species thats not particulaly feirce looking.  Maybe a mouse or squirrel, and he'd be about Jy Jy's hieght.

"Oh Alphie dear what did that nasty adventurere do to you"
DP Groans in pain as he comes too
"See this is why you should leave the power plays to the big boys.  I'll take you home, and run you a nice hot bubble bath... But first let me kiss it and make it all better"

*door slams open*
"Brother dear you have company! Err... Opps sorry I guess I'll give you a moment alone."

I agree with your assessment of thegayhare's theory, that is freakish, I personally wonder if Kria's some sort of weird 'disciple' of DP's or some similar relationship, then again, maybe this is part of her function working for the Creature Council. Or maybe she's just particularly close with her cuzz, I certainly know what that's like.

Oh crap, that had an implication I was not intending.

Whilst the theory fits the demon view, I'm not sure it fits DP, though.

Aww

Oh well I suppose it could be a girl *pouts*

But I still think the more powerfull demon should be smaller and cuter

And it could fit DP's personality.  I mean to this older demon could treat him like a favored pet.  and nothing can be more vicious then a spoiled chihuahua.  The schemes of DP's could be seen by the older lover as merely his attempts to impress, to prove he can make it on his own.  while the older deamon would muss his hair and say "aw look whose a big boy, were you trying to bring back an ancient evil for daddy.  Well have fun but becarefull remember what happened last time you made a whole new race... you don't want to be punished again do you?"

In terms of a mentor/patron, DP seems to be subservient to the Dark God.  Unless of course, 'Dark God' is a nickname like 'Dark Pegasus' and turns out to be a squirrel demon anyway...

well I like the lover Idea because it would offer more incentive to bring DP back from the dead... especially more then once.  A teacher or mentor might be more enclined to give up on a prospect after the second death.  A love interest would be more strongly attached to DP and it wouldn't work for the joke since a mentor wouldn't treat DP like a kept man.

DP Is a fairly masculine char, as well as smart, and powerful.  He always seems to be in control, and have planned for every occasion.  So the fact that he would be in a relationship and the submissive member would I think add to the humor.  add to that the fact that this powerfull force of evil is treated like a pampered poodle when at home. Either a male or female would work in this case since DP in the outside world is such a take charge guy having him in the submissive role to a man or woman would work.  but I just wanted to vioce my preferance

I didn't even realize before that it was the fact that I'd said a male lover in my theory that folks were reacting too.  My over all Idea was the Lover forcing Kria into it I stated below the Idea that it was a cute small male was just my preferance and expected for people too run with there own Ideas.  When so many folks didn't and instead fixated on the fact I'd singled him out for a guy partner I decided to have a little fun and poutingly relent that yes It could be done with a girl.

Should DP be ressed it's sure to start many fireworks instantly.
