i just noticedbut does dark pegasus have a horn on his nose
Some rhinoceros blood, perhaps.
Or perhaps it just looks cool. It's possible he wakes up in the morning and puts on a prosthesis...
A prosthetic proboscis? :mowmeep :mowhappy
OR...
Remember when Mom said "if you keep doing that, it'll stick that way"? Maybe as a child DP had a finger stuck in there and pushed that protrusion out? :lol
Or, it could just be that like all demons he's hornier than others of the same animal type.

Well, you can't leave such tempting bait out like this thread's title and expect nobody to make a move.
Well, the thread title obviously should have been something a little more "normal."
dude we are in the dmfa forums you last passed normal 90 miles behind

No, you shot past the normal horizon and have continued acceleration since then.
I've wondered less about the nose horn, and more about why the second spike on his head seems to have dissapeared....>_>

I guess he's not as excited about blowing up an Undead as killing two fairies and a drake.
you know another interesting thing is dp is said and shown to hate the undead but isn't he undead since he's died three times

Oh great, he's a self-hating undead! Or a necrophobic. Which is better than the opposite.
Hm, maybe he knows resurrection magic or something like that.

Normal
adjective
1. conforming to a standard; usual, typical, or expected
• (of a person) free from physical or mental disorders.
noun
1. the usual, average, or typical state or condition
• a person who is physically or mentally healthy.
Antonym: Abnormal, Unusual

Well, does that help define your question any?
For the record, I officially left normal behind back in second grade when my parents gave me an abridged version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Where are you getting 3 deaths? Dan
defeated DP 3 times in the current (non-flashback) timeline. I only know of one death for sure (without searching), and that was the 3rd defeat. Until this flashback is done, I maintain that one or both of the first two defeats can still be non-lethal. As of this point in the flashback, we have no evidence that he has ever died even once yet. And coming back isn't solely the domain of the undead, a resurrection doesn't create undead, it negates a death.

True.
two things. first, ever read harry potter books 5 through 7? voldemort is not undead, but he died 3 times. second, it has been officially stated that the horn is fake. check the cast page, if you don't believe me. it's at http://www.missmab.com/Cast/DP.php under quirks/ fun facts. or you could just read on. here is the exact quote. The horn in Dark Pegasus' nose and head are actually not natural, but implants. well, there you go. the discusion is closed, I guess, as DP had a horny implant. damnit! I tried so hard not to say that!

It's your forum ranking. The more posts you make, the higher it climbs. It's not really that important (though Evil Jyrras is glad to no longer be a Fuzzy Fluffball).

pizza delivery boy why is each one worst then the last :< ;(
Relax... they start getting better. Undead, Skeleton, Medusa Head... there's some good ones up there. You've just gotta start out small...
"Gardener" and "Pizza Delivery Boy..." I just got that joke. Then again, it took me thirteen years to get the "drop my anchor in that harbor over there" line from the Lovely Ladies Song in Les Miserables (I was seven when I first heard that song: I was so used to it I never really thought about the line all that much).

Tycho Brahe's replacement nose wasn't silver, it was actually gold. It probably had silver and copper alloyed in it to give it more of a 'skin color' look.
What started the argument that led to his duel with Manderup Parsberg isn't clear, but they were both students of math and science, and argued about it. Parsberg apparently didn't stay an ememy. He later became one of Tycho's supporters in the Danish court of King Christian IV.

Well, it's not really a joke... but that was the order that Kria ate those two guys on the day she visited Lorenda and met Jyrras.
Seriously. At points you expect DMFA to torture women and children and innocents more than they did in the latest 'Aliens Versus Predator' movie.
And we don't get to see it! Woe! Woe and despair! :[
Quote from: Stygian on July 20, 2008, 05:51:19 PMSeriously. At points you expect DMFA to torture women and children and innocents more than they did in the latest 'Aliens Versus Predator' movie.
I don't. But then again, I never watched any of the AvP movies. Or the P movies. And the last A movie I watched was Aliens.
DMFA might be have a bit of ceberus syndrome. But I think it's a boon to the comic, rather than a bane.
Pagan,
Do you mean Cerebus Syndrome, as in Dave Sim's epic comic?
Actually, I talking about a certain trope from this wiki. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage)
At the momemt I can't find that article, but it deals with a story being light heart at first then getting more serious down the line. People dieing, drama, angst, etc. The article describes a number of bad cases, but DMFA seems not to be suffering any negative symptoms.
Looked around there. Didn't find anything about Cerebus Syndrome (which, I'd imagine, consists of taking characters who were originally jokes or parodies, and making them ever deeper and more complex, as in Cerebus.)
I did find a reference to Cerberus (as in the three-headed mythological dog) on this page about the zombie apocalypse: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ZombieApocalypse (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ZombieApocalypse)
It also, strangely enough, mentions DMFA, and Amber's concepts for undead characters.
don't be to impressed. I read every one of the character pages before joining... I was really, really, REALY board.
yeah so for now im avoiding kria :boogie cuz i likie to boogi who's with me
just for the record the thing about kria and bogging are 2 diffrent statements
awesome pygmy shrew and a new star
yay! im a slime now! no more proto slime!
silentassassin, next time you feel the need to post three posts in a row?
Don't.
Or I'll feel the need to just silently delete any posts of yours I see. Just ask anyone how much of the forum I read to see how strongly you should listen to my suggestion. Go on. I'll wait here.
oh now i get why you have 2797 negatives
yeah, it kind of makes sence, but I also understand the positives.
No, the negatives are because the other mods like him lots.
Get sassy with an admin again and you're going to time out.
Also. Punctuation. Learn to use it.
Ok, let me get this straight, hatred and flagging are just ways to say we love you? Apparently insanity is what's really nor'mael around here.
The mods have a different definition of "love" when it comes to other mods. We hate everyone else equally, however.
Well they must really LOVE you darkmoon you have more than 4000.

Quote from: Mowser on July 21, 2008, 08:17:24 AMso back to what we're talking about...what was it again really?
Dark Pegasus' horn in the original storyline and lack of horn in the current backflash arc.
And on the topic of DP, did anyone ever find out whether the leader from this comic (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Abel_69.php) was him?
Want an answer to that?
No.
Though, of course, we all know that someone knows.
Whoever it is, looking at panel 2, they appear to be shorter than Kria.
Huh? What are you talking about? Im so confused...
Yeah! I'm a bat!
Talking about whoever Kria is talking to in Abel #69 (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Abel_69.php). seems to be some kind of leader who had given her a task. Possibly a demon academy teacher? Whoever/whatever it was, I doubt it was DP, but seems likely to have been another demon or some other entity in charge.
I'd guess one of the creature council. After all, it just makes since, sense they would be giving her orders, and the academy teachers would likely have sent her to protect him.
oh it was just a horn not a lack of one now i that is where i noticed it the flashback

You mean SAIA teachers? Probably none of them even knew of Abel's cubi heritage yet, and demon academy (if indeed there is one or more) teachers probably woulnd't have any interest in his survival whether they knew he was cubi or not. Kria saved him because
she was one of his teachers and apparently developed a fondness for him (possibly favorite student?).

I have teachers I haven't properly seen in years who still ask my parents how I'm doing when they meet. In my experience, teachers tend to remember a bunch of their students. Plus, Abel's story might have stuck in her head and she might have given him special attention to help him get used to being in an environment that he was safe in and had lots of friends to play with.

....... what?
I think even demon accadamy tends to not support death or creatures... even if they do support the killing of beings. Besides, she clearly works for the council, at least part of the time. We see her doing things for them alot. maybe thats just what they make her do to make up for crimes... who knows? Not me...
