yeah it seems realy stupid but 200 people complained about an ad for hienz mayo.
after getting 200 complaints in a week (which is a tiny amount I think) Hienz pulled the ad
now after hearing Gay and mayo, and suacy. I'm sure your imaginations is all over the place but here is the actual ad
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xl0bkv0jCCM
What do you think?
well, I was expecting them to change deli guy to mom at some point, but I don't see a problem with it.(preferable durring or just after the kiss, durring a camera cut or while 'mom' is obscured by dad)
If this had aired down south, someone'd be dancing the hemp fandango, though.
Heh.
I find it hysterically funny, actually.

That would actually be slightly clever of them; lets 'em have their cake and eat it too, so to speak.
The ad is fine as is to me though.
What a stupid ad. Honestly, that is one crap ad. Why? Because it's boring. Really, really boring, unless you've got some hangup on men kissing.
I thought it was amusing, but not anything amazing.
i would have found it funnier if traditional typical housemom were dressed like a new york butcher and talking like a new york butcher- then you actually get the joke instead of just thinking its a normal gay couple without a joke because thats the politically correct thing to think.
political correctness has wounded humor for all.

More like introduced comedy to the phrase "work makes one free."
Anyway, I see nothing wrong with the comercial, but since I'm an American and this is in the U.K., I'm not going to give a rat's ass about it.
I find it cute to be blunt :3
My first impression was that the new york butcher somehow just replaced mom - The little boy gives a "Huh" look when 'mom' turns around and is revealed to be the butcher.
I agree with Brunhidden.
Meh.
In hindsight, there's not even any tongue. Sheesh. Tempest in a teacup.

Like Billo over on Fox Noise. He went off about the ad, and his guest at the time basically told Bill he was an idiot.
