First of all I'm a new reader, and get the sense that Miss Williams is feeling unloved by her fans. I'm an artist and I like to come up with stories, but when people come up with strange and cruel ideas with what to do with my characters and races (even if I do that myself) I get a bit annoyed. Fanfictions, speculations, and questions are great and all, but making an author unhappy about her work is wrong. It not only hurts the author, but the true fans, that wish to watch and see the wonderful creativity flow from the depths of an amazing mind. Think of the artist/writer when you speculate, think of how they feel when you come up with cruel and unusual punishments for the sad, or insult their work/ideas.
I for one am sad at the way people are acting. Amber Williams, I love your characters, and your stories. And your art is beautiful. We want you to know you are loved and appreciated!!! :mowhappy

I don't think there is a way to make an author unhappy about what happens to their characters unless you steal them without giving credit. Everyone likes to bounce ideas off one another, (friends family, and people off the street) we inspire one another whether we intend to or not.
Speculation is healthy, it is the the fastest way to change the course or outcome of a story ever so slightly, it lets the author know what is being expected, and allows them a way to do something completely unexpected or have a different perspective in the process.
Porn is bad...but other than slash fics, or blatently stealing her demonology, I don't recall Amber ever really having a problem with it.
as for feeling unloved... meh, that's her problem, if that is her problem and not just a figment of your imagination. Love is a tricky thing but we wouldn't speculate or involve ourselves in the creative/destructive process if we didn't truly love her work...if not her personally. Speaking of which Tailsteak and Wildy might have problems with you sharing your love if it ever becomes an unhealthy obsession.
oh and stay on the good side of llearch, Zina, Damarius, Darkmoon, Amber, Destainia, also be wary of Netami, Rafe, and Charlene to be on the safe side.

I just have to say that I both agree and disagree with Gabriel's speculation comment earlier. Because yes, while it can be a good way to give feedback to an artist, it is sadly abused at this forum, to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if Amber actually tried to NOT do things that you all suggested, rather than using it as a free exchange of ideas.
So yeah, speculation can be good, but sadly, it's overused to the point that it is ridiculous, annoying, and demoralizing to other posters. So, yeah. Speculation is, on this forum at least, bad.

unloved by her fans? ^^ well not by the icelandic ones..... to bad the only icelandic one is me lol. like 10 furries in iceland im not joking i counted online ^^ 10-20 MAX. i hope to move to canada or the us perhaps as quickly as i can :P i might be going to canada on a trip sometime this year or next year.
