Looks rather dark compared to what I'm used to. :D

Heh, well that's just one skin. You want bright and happy, try the CVRPG skin.

A DMFA skin will follow soon, fear not.

I had to change the look of this place... too gloomy.

It does work though, of that... there can be no doubt.

Gurg. Done fitzing around for now. Pretty much A-OK.

I'm working on another gloomy skin, but, a DMFA skin will be coming.

If anyone wants to have a go at "making" a skin, let me know. I'm more than willing to pass supplies over so you can play.

ITOS, there seems to be a 500 pixel wide signature limit.  I think you may have to remix some of your creations to avoid them getting scrunched horribly like Azlan's :(

BTW Azlan, I thought you weren't coming.  Good to see you've changed your mind :)

The standard skin is to dark for my taste aswell.

Unfortunately I dedicated myself to a few RPs, so to persue them I must follow where they will inevitably go.  I still find her Mabisty to be a good friend, so I am willing to put up with a potential dictatorial gestapo in order to follow her and ze comic.

Try using 'CVRPG Classic', it's not quite the pastel shade of DMFA, but it's easier on the eyes than the others, IMHO.

Well I don't mind the look...

Of course, my monitor can switch between three levels of brightness at the click of a button, which probably helps

(nods) CVRPG was the default "Happy" skin. Banquet is a compliment to ICVD.

Perhaps for the testing of working Avitars and Signatures. If you've nothing to contribute to the other threads, then a meaningless thread to work out the bugs of such things is a good idea, I think.

That's sad... the glows don't show up in Firefox.

And posters do not have the permission set to delete posts.  I've found, over the years, that it makes certain arguements look weird, especially when someone goes back and deletes the posts in the meantime.  You can edit, though (at least if you go change what was said, everyone will know) ;).

You can also just use the opportunity to post something amusing and witty about computers, forums, and the ability to double post. ;)

Can someone lend me their notes. I didn't realize there was going to be a test.  :januscat

Certainly (http://ftp://ftp.studer.ch/Public/Products/B67%20MkII/Manuals/B67_MkII_Op_Serv.pdf) - you just need to memorise pages 80-238 and it'll be fine.

That's sad... the glows don't show up in Firefox.

Aww, dang. You're right. Nooooo! But... but I love glowy text... *sniffles* Don't hate us 'cause we rock. :(

I swear, whenever I see the word test, I'm reminded of that old Sega comic-book game that had Elvis (some soundalike, of course) spouting out "Testing, testing, one, two, say-hey-gah-ha!" or something similar at load.

It was a particularly good game, too.  I desire to play it again actually but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.  I have an interesting mind though, everything seems to remind me of something.

Pointless post?  You bet!  Still, this is a test thread.  I'm just testing the board's tolerance of inane posts.

To add an actual reply to something though ...

Isn't the glowy text part of Microsoft's evil custom CSS stuff?  I know that text-shadow (which is really nifty and cleaner lookin') has been a part of the W3 CSS standard for a while now, it's just that the Mozilla foundation hasn't adopted it yet, that I know of.

When they do, we can all switch to text shadows and enjoy those.
