I'm bored and I remembered a strip Mab did that I felt NEEDED a different script put in.

I actually did all these with Gimp.  IMHO it's a lot more intuitive than Photoshop - unless you are already used to Photoshop.  (Mind you, I've heard that the latest Photoshop has redesigned the UI and now has the same problem...)

Well, the reference is not a very good one, since there is no sign that Abel actually attacked anyone with those swords, but you can try and imagine that. Or you may pretend that he is only preparing to attack his opponent!  :3

Also, for those who have not seen Hokuto no Ken and don't understand what's Abel saying, he is saying "You are already dead!..."

I'm assuming that this is related to GaoGaiGar's Hammer Hell and Heaven attack (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechanoid_(GaoGaiGar)) where the character yells ""Hikari ni Nare" ("Become the Light")" and smashes the enemy with his magic hammer.

Both Naldru and Silver Pomeranian Genji are correct. This is, indeed, the finishing move of the fabled "Hammer Heaven and Hell" attack, during which the attacker must scream "Turn into the Light" (or "Become the Light"). Othervice the Goldion Hammer will probably just bounce harmlessly off the target.

Completely unrelated sidefact for Ren. In GaoGaiGar, it's mostly EnRyu who does it, but I've seen the other -ryu series as well. When they're in full out attack mode and shooting wildly, you can actually hear them going. "Oraoraoraoraoraoraoraora!" just like Star Platinum :b

Completely unrelated sidefact for Ren. In GaoGaiGar, it's mostly EnRyu who does it, but I've seen the other -ryu series as well. When they're in full out attack mode and shooting wildly, you can actually hear them going. "Oraoraoraoraoraoraoraora!" just like Star Platinum :b

Most of the stuff I remember about "GaoGaiGar" is the stuff related to GaoGaiGar itself. But now that you say it, EnRyu reall did go "Oraoraoraora"... In fact, this "Oraoraoraora" is present in many animes... But for me it will always associate with Star Platinum! JBA Episode 3 was just too awesome.  ...Toki wo tomare!...

Banners are 64x96 pixels and go in the Banners directory
Badges are 64x64 pixels and go in the Badges directory
Then you just make a colour scheme using the in game Army Painter and select the banner and badge.

There is a parody of DMFA made by Tapewolf somewhere at the beginning of this thread (http://clockworkmansion.com/forum/index.php/topic,4126.msg175557.html#msg175557), where Daniel sings a song "Hey Dude".  I liked it very much and decided to make something similar. The result was a comic where Daniel with some help from Abel and students of SAIA sings a very unlikely song - "The Sounds of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel.

Thank you very much. It took me some 7 or 8 hours. It wasn't an easy task to find enough pictures of Daniel where he would have expression fitting to the song. Neither was it easy to edit out the existing word bubbles and replace them with my own.
Originally I intended to make it somewhat humorous (to tell the truth, I thought of this very song when I saw DMFA-880 :3), but I am not good at making funny stuff, so I just tried to preserve the mood of the song. Also, now that I look at this thingie, I start to think that this song would fit Abel more than Daniel. Anyway, they make a pretty good duet. :3

I think someone took a picture of the Emperor (I have never found the original pic) and shooped Serious Cat's head over his. So yes, in a way, that is Space Marine armour. After all, the Emperor created the Space Marines.
