Where are the references to ``We've secretly replaced Mab's tea with a baby.  Let's see if anyone can tell the difference.''

I am very disappointed in you all.

I believe that it was set of commercials for Folger's Instant Coffee.

The general theme

We're visiting the fine restaurant fubar (or whatever).  What the patrons don't know is that we've replaced their regular coffee with Folger's Instant.

The people drinking the coffee then all say how good it is.

*******

I once had people say how good my coffee was.  I had been the first person to clean the coffee pot in years.

Edit:

I found a reference  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folgers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folgers)

Is it just me or does Mab look different in today's comic?  I can't quite place it, but something seems to have changed.  Maybe the hair ...

I do like her outfit in the last panel.  Nice to see what it looked like before baby spittle and diapers have their way with it ...

I was thinking her expression in the first panel.  I guess it makes sense when you think about it, but it's kind of odd.

I like her alternate outfit, too.  And that fae sitting next to her, whoever she is.

The Fae sitting next to Mab in the last panel reminds me intensely of someone. Damned if I can remember who, though.

Someone canine, female, and teacher/librarian-ish. Maybe.

I don't -think- I'm thinking of Freefall, though, because Florence doesn't wear glasses...

a Fae Zig-Zag would create an all-porno world... then turn the denizens of all the other universes into desperate fanbois willing to spend all their money to view it, thus giving her complete control of everything.   :3

Plus, this comic was obviously sponsored by Starbucks.

Or Boco Java... great coffee, special teas, and premium not chocolate you can order anytime online and have it delivered!  They also have great special gift packages for almost any occaision!

Also, I wonder what kind of tea Rose came from?

Ahem...

Rose hip tea? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_hip#Health_benefits) :B

I have no more to contribute to the topic other than this comic made me laugh like a hyena. I approve of the punchline. XD

The only person that I can think of that it might remind me of would be Millie's mother in Ozzy and Millie (http://www.ozyandmillie.org).  She is studious and wears glasses.  Given time, I may think of others.

Not her. Yes, it is reminiscent, but no, not her.

... Zig-Zag, maybe?

The face does somehow remind me of ZigZag a little.  However, can you imagine ZigZag as a Fae.  That would be a really bizarre world.

Fortunately Zig-Zag's cameo is already plotted with her not being a Fae.

Hear that, everyone?  That is what's known as a teaser!  Care to elaborate on when we can expect Zig in the comic, Amber?  And will this be a full crossover, or simply a filler-sequence?

She's also in www.zzstudios.com - James Bruner has written a 100+ chapter story there, but he's been a bit busy of late and hasn't had the impetus to write anything. Burnout sucks...

All of the 'Original' comics that feature Zig-Zag are pornographic in nature.  Sabrina-Online I think was the first where she had a recurring, non-porno role (though she's still a porn star), but I haven't checked ZZ Studios, so I can't say on that one.  I'll post a link to the original creator's website as soon as I find it.

I should probably point out that the story James wrote contains adult themes and situations - but then, his homepage re-iterates that anyway, so... ;-]

Whilst there's no actual imagery in his story, his site contains a gallery of fan work, including both stories based on his stories, and pictures.

There are also a number of -other- stories various folks (of, obviously, varying ability) have written. Zig has grabbed at the collective imagination, as it were, in a fairly solid manner.

Max must be proud. ;-]

(and yes, Max Blackrabbit is, indeed, the original creator - being an artist, his work involved pictures, rather than stories. Other people have taken the rough guide he came up with and run with it - and sometimes all over it...)

Would it be inappropriate to suggest possible roles in which ZigZag could appear, as long as their mere description doesn't push the ratings over the edge?

For example, a cubi who feeds on the emotion of lust.  (All I'm saying is a possible role in which ZigZag could appear.  I'm not asking Amber to do it, and I apologize if I have crossed the boundary of good netiquette.)

It is apparently in Supermegatopia Blue (SMT Blue), not the regular Supermegatopia.  I am not going to provide a link to it here, because it is way, way beyond what can be shown here or described here.  You can find the location of SMT Blue on the Belfry web comic list (http://www.belfry.com/comics).  I shall now try to forget the image.

Definitely NC-17.

Mind you, most of what shows up on SMT is in that range anyway. ;-]

FWIW, you're welcome to link any rating of (legal) items on here. The only restrictions we have are that, if it's NSFW, you -say- so.

Quote
# Do not post up images or links to child pornography, snuff (images, movies, etc), or pirated software, at all, not even in Private Messaging. Keep all that illegal stuff completely off of the forum.
# NSFW (Not safe for Work) threads MUST have a warning in the thread title.

Posting a well-marked link to SMT Blue would fit within those limits. *grin* Not that I'm forcing you to post it, of course. If I wanted to do that, I'd post it myself. ;-]

Because it more than likely requires either the cooperation of all the various website owners or for someone to put in an ungodly amount of hours work into.  Considering exactly how many NSFW addresses there are, there simply is no reasonable way to handle it without requiring the assistance of others...and that is always going to lead to failures.

You mean, like, a message that appears before you proceed to the URL that says "THIs is not work safe"?  The "Maintenance" here can't possibly keep track of what is and isn't work safe everywhere at all times.  The only thing that would work would be a warning every time you click on something that lets you know you may not be seeing something work safe.

They do this (Tag every link with a warning) at the official WoW forums, and it's extremely annoying.

Maybe he means a CMF tag?

Or something like Google's ``damage your computer'' warning?

Amber has it about right.

All of the above have been tried by various 'child protection' and work porn blockers with a very poor success rate. There was once a standard for tagging HTTP and HTML content for what sort of rating content had... it failed horribly, in part because a good portion (not all, but a good portion) of the porn industry is motivated to outright lie. Then there is the problem that, well, for example: I tagged my porn as porn, and the entire domain got blacklisted, and still is to this day in a number of systems such that you can't access it from some places at work despite the fact my stuff was only a fraction of the content.

Hand tagging other people's content is insanely prohibitive and error prone, the man power required often leads to misclassification, and biased reporting.

So instead we live with chaos. Enjoy. :)

To each his own really. Personally though, I could never really go for that pairing. Too strange.
Sakura/Hinata however~

I dunno, I stumbled upon a pretty hot sakura/ino pic on Second Life in an art gallery. I bought it but have no SL house to hang it in, so I just pull it out randomly to show people.

now now they have a love hate relationship they are too much like Tusnada and elder Chyino to really get together but they showed how much they cared about each other in the first chuunin exams when they had to overcome each themselves to fight each other at full strength.

Y'know if it wasn't for hentai and fanfics poor Tenten would have less coverage then some of the extras.

Isn't the point of half the fanfics out there to have less... coverage?

Why isn't there a NSFW proxy that you type in a NSFW address into, it creates a proxy, but with a warning at the top?

Because it more than likely requires either the cooperation of all the various website owners or for someone to put in an ungodly amount of hours work into.  Considering exactly how many NSFW addresses there are, there simply is no reasonable way to handle it without requiring the assistance of others...and that is always going to lead to failures.

Enjoy. :)
Is that what happened to deviantart?

Do you mean Chiyo-baa? How so? They had a purely "our villages are enemies, ergo we are enemies"-thing going on.

True enough, it is a mighty fine pairing.
However, not one I can really get into, unless the right circumstances are met.

Sarutobi was the third fire-shadow. hokaga i think it's spells. and i'l sorry butthe age gap is too great for their lifespans for me. shudders. he was older then the creepy snake guy and the toad sage and Tsunada and they are all  50 years old.

and no i'm not saying it was romantic i'm saying that they respected each others mastery of there own skills. Chiyo-baa respected the slug princess Tsunada's medical skills strength and spirit and Tsunada respected Chiyo-baa's puppetry's skills, determination and cleverness.
