Title: Jakon's intro
Post by: Jakon on September 14, 2007, 05:31:55 PM
Hey. So I'm Jakon. I read DMFA.

I started playing Furcadia way back in the old days. Like, 1997 or '98. Played on and off for about 6 years before I finally gave up on it.

Other than that, I'm pretty much just an average college student. I'm from Kentucky, but currently in North Carolina. So that's cool.

Um... so hi. XD

AAAAaaaahhh! A newbie!

Kill it with fire! Kill it with fire!

... more seriously, hiya, welcome, watch out for anyone who tells you to watch out for people, especially those who list people to watch out for, like Bill, that llearch guy, Kenji, RJ, RJ's muffins, that llearch guy again, and Ink.

And have fun, of course. That's the most important bit. ;-]

I sense some irony here, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

I wouldn't expect you to be able to.  Last I knew, irony wasn't tangible.  Iron, however...

7/10 intro.

A bit short, but bonus points from being from Kentucky.

*appears in a flash of blue light*

Greetings, new person. Welcome to this refuge of strangeness.

Leave your remaining sanity (if any) in the secure storage provided, and do remember to retain your claim ticket, or there'll be no end of problems.

I highly recommend not trying to put your finger on llearch's irony. Trust me. It's not a good idea.

Be careful of Muffin-bearing squirrels, and other hazards including (but not limited to) llearch, Bill, and the other characters around the place. Especially llearch.

Have a welcome gift. *gives the new person a souvenir coffee mug*

Enjoy your time here, in this place where the insanity fun never ends!

*waves, and vanishes in a shower of coloured sparkles*

Welcome Jakon, it is not so often that I get the chance to bring feelings and tidings of welcome to a person twice.
Generally, it will lose it's novelty part-way into the first.
I jest. Sort of... I must apoligize for my lack of sensical communication, I've a bit of a headache at the moment.

If Eibbor_n and I were still doing the pointy-stick thing, I would now proceed to give you a pointy-stick to protect you from all the dangers of this (forum-)world. However, they were unfortunately all lost in the move (as well as Eibbor himself apparantly...).
*discreetly reaches into a plothole to bring forth a wood-type item and places the said item in front of Jakon*

Don't ask me, I don't know.
I don't even know what you're talking about.
