Title: Photo Album: The Photomatrix Revisited
Post by: Darkmoon on June 02, 2007, 10:58:01 AM
Rules for the photo album:

1) You MUST have a picture.  However, no one said it has to be actually you.  If it is an actual photograph, it must either be you, or a non-human entity of appropriate taste.  You may also have any drawn item of appropriate taste that you like instead (or as well -- no one said you had to be limited to ONE picture).

2) You must have a short summary- however, this will most likely be edited by me, as I am want to do.

3) You must have at least 2 favorite things.

You can pop up to the top of the forum and click on "CM Site" to access the photo album if you are interested in seeing previous entries.

Keep in mind: the Photo Album is time intensive and is usually updated rarely.  It may take a while for it to get done.  Please try to keep chatter in this thread to a minimum, so that we can actually find the updates.

We would hate to have to close the thread and start all over because of the massive quantity of off-topic posts.

4) If you post multiple pictures, you MUST have enough content to fill the page (to balance them out). If you don't have enough content, I will use as many of the pictures as I can, but won't use them all until you give me more content to play with.

The goal: write a ton of stuff, people.

All previous album requests that I could take care of have, indeed, been taken care of. If your bio was not, for some reason made/updated, post here and let me know.

Anyone that posted pictures but had no bio content to go with them did NOT get a bio. If you are one of those people, and want a bio, post some information.

Darkmoon, I totally owe you for making such an awesome summary to my picture. XD I laughed for thirty minutes straight.

It also explains why my lizard keeps getting these shifty eyes whenever I turn my back on him...

I guess rejects must have their use. I'm still around, after all!

(I died of severe roffle at reading mine. Classic indeed!)

(bows)

It's actually not as hard as I thought it would be to make these. Everytime I sit down to do them, I think "man, what am I gonna do now..." but, generally, it just flows.

I'm glad you like them.

Hmm. Out of boredom, I will try and dig up a picture of myself. and remember what my photobucket password is. The Butterscotch is not helping e.e; but I will edit this post as I get the pic up, as opposed to making a new one lol

Wow, its amazing what I had in my old photobucket account. o.o; I should have cleaned it up earlier. On the other hand tho, I have found a pic of me there, and since Im lazy I will just chuck it up now.

This pic was from my first visit to the USA, I stayed temporarily at a friends farm place. Thats his gun, and also his thumb at the side of the camera. Later on, we went out and blew up a bucket with it. No alcahol was involved, either lol.

This will sound kinda strange, but after reading the rules in more detail I realised that I do have two favorite things in that pic. My gloves, which were a gift, and are merino/possum fur, and the Beanie, which I take with me whenever I leave the country no matter where I am going, just so people can see I am a Kiwi/NZ'er. funnily enough, I rarely wear it tho. >.> its kinda small for me. but I take it anyways.

I'll put myself up for this... I'm wondering if I'll regret this.

Pick and choose. I don't care which one is up for it. The big bunny's name is Chauncey (Also known as his Chaunciness and Master), and the little baby rabbit is Moose.

Favorite Things: Ramen, Playing the Bassoon, Breeding Rabbits, Cardigan Welsh Corgwn (Being the Plural of Corgi), Drawing, Anime, Console RPG's, Roleplaying

I play the Bassoon (AKA Faggotti in the Classical World. No lie.), Saxophone, Flute, Piccolo, and I could figure out any other woodwind given a little bit of time. I like Jazz music and J-Pop.

I have had up to... 18? Rabbits under my supervision at some points. I like breeding rabbits, because not are the babies adorable, I find showing rabbits a fun pastime... but also because bunnies have really funny mating habits.

My Zodiac signs are Leo and Snake - So I'm a hypocrite in the Harry Potter realm.

Other than that, DM, you can do as you wish. Lay it on me. I'm emotionally drained at this point.

You look suspiciously like my slightly younger cousin.

I've gone through a number of rabbits, myself, probably because they suck at living.  Or they're really good at dying.  Either way works, I suppose.

Oh yeah, and I'm 17, now, not 16. :)

He owns me. He's "His Royal Chaunciness". He enjoys yogurt drops and pooping. And Girl Bunnies.

I can never get a photo of him without red eyes - or some other flaw. He sits up on command, but when I tried taking a photo, but his head got cut off. :P Here's the photo, if you're curious.  (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v132/sweeterswing/DC400009c.jpg)

* = Bad Furries in my opinion, are the ones who compare you to hitler because you aren't exactly keen to the idea of dressing up like a rabbit or fox and emulating and/or performing sexual acts in said costume. These people are also the ones who call you a "hume" like you are the most evil thing to walk the face of the earth(even though I would protect animals at the risk of my own safety), yet don't seem to comprehend that for now, all they are are "hume" in a fursuit! They scream fursecution if you don't believe in human/animal relationships(aka bestiality), or if you think them crazy because they honestly believe they are animals while simultaneousely raping your dog/plushie/cat/etc.

These are the extremists who give furry artists like Mab, as well as the furry community in general, a bad name. What makes me hate them is that they compare me to someone who wishes for complete genocide of EVERY OTHER RACE just because I don't agree with them.

B-Day: 27th July 1989
Greek Zodiac: Leo
Chinese Zodiac: Snake
That Makes: A leonine-Serpent? two thirds of a chimera?
Lives In: Well, seemingly the land of the Frubs, but also by times Canada.

Fav Colour: Pink, then Purple, then blue, and then some greens. At the time I came to this conclusion back in late elementary/early junior high I was interestingly enough wearing my third favourite colour of blue the most (although this could be practicality) and green was not yet a factor.

Fav Food: Spaghetti, Solomon Gundy, Dark Chocolate (mmm...)

Fav Shows: Colbert Report, Daily Show, Scrubs when I used to watch it, and Grey's anatomy at times, also Studio 60

Fav Anime: NARUTO!!! Inu-Yasha, Eureka 7 (sort of...) and Gundum Seed/Destiny

Fav Movie Types: comedy

Fav Video Games: Mario : 3

Fav Music: Weird Al Yankovich, new age, and classical. Most really. I like Akeboshi :3

Hobbies: Drawing, reading, writing. Day Dreaming. about Naruto  >:3 Also singing. yes, singing.

Loves: none o' yo' business!
(stuff which I'm really not so sure of at the moment. let me get back to you on that. I do sort of like running though. I love Sakura <3)

Secretly: I secretly love Sakura more than any actual living person I might potentially crush on as of yet to this date :3
Admirrration~

Tries To Be: cool
and funny, witty and all manner of other awesome things. Like cheese.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to sit still for two to five years. *shrugs* :<

Oh yeah... and nice.

Wishes:  I had more time management abilities. And like all others, it's always been my dream to have a cameo, but obviously I'm not that cool, and unwilling to kill my character. *makes a note to get more comic-artist friends/convert her friends into comic-artists*

That'll never work.

In all honesty Keaton has almost all of my bad qualities multiplied by a hundred. ;) Though she definitely has a lot more than mine... aside from that, we're nothing alike, personality-wise. I would hate to meet her if she actually existed.

Yep that's really me, the one in the red shirt.  The orange fuzzball there is my cohort partner in crime cat, Sonny (and yes, he has a gimp ear, he got that in a fight with his brother).  FYI, he's an orange tabby.  I took him in right after I got back from the whole Katrina disaster.

A little bit about me... I live in Louisiana, near the Greater New Orleans area.  I currently work somewhere in Metairie, providing IT support for a government facility.  In my free time I play console and PC video games, and I also do the D&D thing with my gaming group on weekends.  Along with Sonny, there are two other cats for whom I help to provide a house for.  There's a black cat named Midnight and a grey tabby named Sissy.  There's also a blue parakeet named Turrette who resides here... my sister named him.

I have a younger sister who lives in Westwego, an older half-sister who lives in Baton Rouge, and an older half-brother who lives in Covington.  We're all one big happy family.

Also, while on the topic (ie-thread) my brother bought himself Guitar Hero (II) today, he needed the stress relief he said.

:) You're welcome! Did the other wigs have a similar style or were they something else entirely?

Something else entirely. The original wig I found in the season was the right colour, but too short. When I decided to buy it, they were all sold out.
The other wig (the first one I bought) had more of an orangy-hue in the undertone and didn't really look very good on me, but it was long enough so that I could cut it.
The next wig was super long, but the accurate colour. However, after I finished brushing it (because it was very messy when I got it) my mother didn't want me to cut it.
The wig I actually wore was one I already owned.

What I did was practise the fingerings as my brother played (secretly) so that when I finally do get to play for the first time, I might be able to cut it. My brother was being all agressive yesterday about how I'd "better like it". I chuckled vaguely and then he was all *spaz, I need Guitar Hero to chill out* so yeah... we'll see if it ever does get into my hands.

First off, the only pictures I post in this thread are ones that  I want to have on my photo album (once it's up)
Secondly, I have not been publicly embarrassed, just personally embarrassed, mainly due to owning a guitar I got for my birthday before grade ten which I have never gotten to learning how to play.

Use your index finger to press down the smallest string (the high E string) on the first fret. Now play that and the 3 strings underneath it at the same time. G7 chord. Bam, you're playing guitar.

Photo album? Is that thru this site? It's morning and I'm a little thick in the mornings.  :P

See the CM:Site link up above?

Click on that. Then on "The Clockwork Mansion", and then on "Photo Album".

Bam. You've found the album.
Suite! I'll have to check that out! Thanks llearch!

Use your index finger to press down the smallest string (the high E string) on the first fret. Now play that and the 3 strings underneath it at the same time. G7 chord. Bam, you're playing guitar.

GASP!!!
:U :U :U
That was liek the first lesson in my book!!! :U

Okay, now put your ring finger on the 3rd fret of the same string and play the same four strings. Bam, G chord. By the time I get done with you, you'll be outplaying folks like Van Halen in your sleep!  :mowninja

If you keep giving guitar lessons in the photo album thread, I'm going to have Darkmoon write something really mean about you. :p

Thats my hat. OF ULTIMATE DESTINY +1 against beer wenches.

It has seen the mighty Dragon of VVarvenfall, the mighty forests of Unak Marson, and has eated with king American.

I got it from Santa, but i doubt that considering the Marks and Spencer tab on the inside.

There's your problem.

You're not supposed to be getting -away- from the beer wenches.

Why am I posting in this topic again? I have a life. I write stuff. I go to school. So why... am... I... here?

lol i duno.

Felt like posting again, if only to show what I look like wearing my new glasses. I have great hearing, but my vision couldn't get worse even if someone removed my eyes, pissed on them, and then put them back in my head. Going blind is one of my deepest paranoias, along with losing my hands.

Forgot to add this to my biography:
I have a lot of eclectic interests. Friends of mine have heard me rant on and on about how great these seemingly random things are.

Dunno what to say, really.  got that a couple weeks ago, and took the picture earlier after figuring out how to work the new camera (why can't it just be the old point & click anymore?).  But at least the resolution's nice.  The tattoo above it is a bass clef, and it needs to be touched up badly.  Good god, that picture makes it look like I really need to shave...

Huh... I feel like I'm forgetting something here.  I'll just add edit it in later when I figure it out.

Now he's gettin' a tattoo, yeah
He's gettin' ink done!
He asked for a 13
But they drew a 31!
Friends say he's trying to hard,
And he's not quite hip,
But in his own mind, he's the,
HE'S THE DOPEST TRIP!

:lol, sorry, but that quote was almost obligatory :P

Is there, like, a rating for pictures uploaded, or something, or do I have to censor this (http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i213/xXHaZxMaTXx/Rawr.jpg)? :B  Woo, ambiguous!  I wonder how many people will not click that link.

If that is acceptable, could you just replace all my current pics with that, as the current ones are over 2 years old, now, I think.

Also, my dad got me that shirt for Christmas. :3
