Title: DMFA guest double feature 28/05/07
Post by: Aridas on May 28, 2007, 02:29:06 AM
Well, someone was in the wrong place at the wrong time ^_^;

Oh, and it's the other comic that was displayed in the forum. Good stuff.

Ya, I saw the second one too. Still funny. But in the first one, who was the striped girl sitting next to Abel? I don't recognize her. :B

Cool.  Someone started the thread.  I think I said most of what I had to say here (http://clockworkmansion.com/forum/index.php?topic=2714.msg118610#msg118610).

Other than that, great stuff, and I'm glad to see Jigsaw's work getting showcased.

That looks to be Jigsaw Forte (http://lastresort.xepher.net/).

I believe it's supposed to be Newky, yes, Illusionist.

Nice stuff.

Same here. Oh snap I think I destroyed my hip laughing. XD

I loved the art on both of the comics, as well as the punchlines. Hiiilarious lineup.

I must admit, when I saw the Jigsaw strip, I thought I'd hit the wrong bookmark by mistake  :P

<snicker> So true, although I got it right away. I was wondering, though. Is the "it's a plate of chips, so it must have a splash of ketchup on it" thing UK-only, or are our transPondian friends going to take a bit longer to cotton on?

No, Fries and Ketchup are universal.

Seriously, though... Why Newcastle?

More importantly, why do they have Newcastle Brown Ale in Furrae?  :U

Somehow I think it's going to be found in other not so recognizable forms in furrae.

I think "because he's Dan" is answer enough.   :rolleyes ;)

(I've tried some things called "beer" that shouldn't be — presumably Dan has a stronger stomach...)

First Comic: Poor Jigsaw...I feel sorry for her.

Second Comic: Abel, you are hilarious!

That said, I say both artist did an awesome job.

I Thought the first comic looked like Jigsaw's art.  :B

When will Amber be back again?  I guess I didn't get the memo on that (that or I didn't read it 'A')

:mowhappy   Sauce with chips for Abel, and a liquid lunch for Dan, with a Miss Mab on the side. Serving right up ...

Actually, for some reason, I think Milwaukee's Best would suit Dan nicely.

Hehe, I have been made fun of for years by my friends because I will buy wavy chips or plain chips, put some ketchup on a small plate or bowl, and dip the chips in it. XD

I think I missed this one, and I can't find the link in the guest comic section.
Anyone have a link?

Yep, you missed it.  It might be awhile before it is in the guest comic section.

And I know I don't have a link. :(

Try checking the Tower of Art.

I remember seeing the second comic there, in Jigsaw Forte's art thread.
