Um, I think it's 'martial' law. Under martial law, you could suspend habeas corpus, empower a Posse Comitatus...
Edit: For those not familiar with that episode of Sealab 2021:
QuoteMurphy: Until we find the thief, I am declaring Martian law!
Sparks: Um, I think its martial law.
Murphy: Silence! Under Martian law... uh... what are my powers, exactly?
Sparks: Under martial law, you could suspend habeas corpus, empower a
posse comitatus...
Murphy: That's crap. Mars is wild, untamed. I'm forming a cadre of Martian
knights charged with enforcing Martian law.
Yes, but under martian law you get to shoot people with laaazzers.
Martian law is way cooler.
I'll go with the lead pipe, in case they're from Doppopolus.

Jones, you can't just "throw it together", a posse is something you've got to -organise-...

A suave and sophisticated Amber who draws nothing but manly people? o:
And hates swedish fish and wasabi peas!? D: Inconceivable!
Hmm...I dunno about sophisticated, FKK. Bizarro Amber has bad English skillz.
Maybe she has a tan. o:
And a cape?
Probably to counterpart the Wiku Worm.
Oh, right, the bad spelling. I guess it kind of blended in. This is the internet, after all...
Would a cape really couterpart the Wiku Worm? D: Would it turn it into a Wiku Moth?

Something I've been thinking about. If this is Bizarro Amber, shouldn't she be sending us donations? :mowmeep
Bizarro Amber! I want to give you a donation! A big one!
If she's doing the opposite of what peeps recomend...
Bizarro Amber should not get more sleep. She should instead create more comics.
Yeah, i was one of the people who emailed Amber. And I actually spent time writing it. It kind of makes me angry.
She probably knew you were really Aniz in disguise.

One time, she not post Abel with clothes.

You squealed like an old man because she posted abel with clothes? Either your bizarro-lish needs work (or mine :D) or you've got some weird stuff going on in that head of yours.

Maybe it's not how you say it, but what you say. it is, of course, mere coincidence
that a few hours after I emailed her, Bizzaro Amber announced her immanent retirement :)
(btw I'm not exactly a newbie, more of a long time lurker who misplaced his old user name & password)
It's been fun, in any case. Especially the "me am normal update" part.

You could always email or IM one of the admins. We're not -that- hard to locate, are we?
.. or have we disabled enough that you can't get hold of us without having an account? Ewps. Erm. Yeah.
Anyway - Darkmoon and Damaris clear out old, unused accounts that don't get logged into for >6 months or so, every so often. So it's possible that the account doesn't exist. If you really want, we can look for it for you, though...

besides, if I don't remember the user, password or email of the old account, how would you go about finding it ?

That *IS* true, however, I think if standard Amber doesn't feel needed, Bizarro Amber disappears. Therefor, I think it best if we all hope Bizarro Amber comes back, yet dont make normal Amber decide to leave cause noone likes her anymore. ;)

:mowhappy By the way, why doesn't Aniz have a cool car and such ? It seems that many of the past characters end up in the present. Is this the time that Amber starts to update the cast page ? :mowhappy
Bizarro Amber totally lied to me. Either that or Bizarro Amber was disposed of and Amber made a bad attempt at saying goodbye (or is it hello?) and thus we will never see Biz-A again :<
Bizarro Amber should visit from time to time, and who know's , with a bit of crazy clothing to match her character, always be given a welcome, ( and cameo maybe ? ) Imagine in a page of " Letters to the Editor " , Normal Amber, Fluffy ( with motivation stick ) , and Bizarro Amber meet . I would like to see that three way split ...
To become a perfect imperfect duplicate... Bizarro Amber must be opposite of Miss Amber... ergo, if Miss Amber is alive then Bizarro Amber.. must... be... o crap.

maybe it's more like the mirror universe in the series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111999/)
where, if one character went to the other side, his or her opposite was immediately
drawn to our side.
So there's no issue of life or death, just of who is in our side of the multiverse

I find this hard to believe. In my time on second level help-desk support, I saw roughly the same level of confusion and lack of understanding with regard to men and women. In any event, statements about the general population are useless since they provide no guidance about individuals. Furthermore, there are always women like Admiral Grace Murray Hopper for whom it can be said, for virtually all computer topics, that she's been there, done that, wrote the software and the book. (To her fans, she was known as Amazing Grace.) She was the guiding force behind the development of the COBOL compiler and worked on the design of both the first electro-mechanical (Mark I at MIT) and electronic (Eniac at University of Pennsylvania) general purpose computers.
Right.
But she was still a woman.

"Cómprese hoy
una linda mujer que no piense ni coma.
No piense más, señor,
que no hay nada mejor que una nena de goma. "
Explanation: that's from a song by "La máquina de hacer pájaros" ("The bird-making machine"). The title of the song is "El vendedor de muñecas de plástico" ("The plastic doll salesman").
The part I quoted translates to: "buy today a pretty woman who doesn't think nor eat. Think no more, mister, for there's nothing better than a rubber babe."
It's sarcastic, of course.
More sexism plz.

She always was lame in the comics. What with being tied up on the cover of most of her comics.
For crying out loud, why would she be concerned at ALL with vanity? She comes from an all woman amazon island secluded from men of any kind.

Please tell me when the covers of books started having any relationship to what was in them.
Wonder Woman was originally intended as a parody of other comic books where the male super-hero had to keep saving the klutzy female (think Superman and Lois Lane) while Sheena, Queen of the Jungle was more of a straight role-reversal. Trying to analyze her actions in the forties and earlier makes as much sense as a critical analysis of the actions of The Three Stooges or The Marx Brothers. If you think her actions were comical, look at the actions of her all-girl crew of sidekicks led by Etta Candy. I'm not sure when Wonder Woman became a more serious character, but I suspect that it was during the sixties or seventies. For those of you with limited vocabularies, parody implies comedy.

I'll just stick to the Wonder Woman in the new cartoon series who beat the crap out of Superman. Aahh... now there's a super hero female worth liking.

Wonder woman should always be able to go toe to toe with Supes... ideally. Though in truth shes less an iconic character than the latter. Which is actually good for her since that gives her character the room to grow and change. ten years from now, Superman will still be Superman, Batman will still be batman, But wonder woman...
