Title: Sample cook book pages
Post by: thegayhare on April 27, 2007, 02:14:45 PM
Hi Hi all

I was just wondering if you guys would take a look at the two sample pages I put up in my FA account

The recipies are real so feel free to try them out and tell me what you think

cheescake cupcake (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/515300/)

now this next one I want your opinion on the lay out of the steps does it make sense

Cordon Bleu (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/514818/)

See I went
1  2
3
4
with the steps  Is that easy to follow or should I have gone

1  4
2
3

The steps are numbered, so it's fairly obvious which way you should step through it.

After all, you should always read all of a recipe before starting, right? right? :-]

Doesn't excuse you doing it the wrong way.  Not that I'm sure which way is right.  I would imagine that

1     4
2     [im]
3     [age]

is right.

Of course, you could always do it like the following:

1       2
[im]   3
[age] 4

See, I figured the way it was was right.

Obviously I'm off in a world of my own, as usual :-]

Welp I'm definitly going to have to change the layout

one of the guys who looked at it on anouther site assumed that I was putting the cheese and ham in after I cooked it.

Also I'm thinking of tweaking the recipie a bit since to tell the truth I don't follow it exactly I only sear it in the oil about 2 minutes on each side then finish in the oven

So. It appears that, whilst people who can read are capable of understanding it in the
1 2
3
4
layout, those who can't need:
1 4
2
3
layout. That's fair enough. :-]

Hmm I'm thinking of doing a third sample page  if my cookie fund gets to 150

but first Would you make your own salad dressing if you had a recipie?

I'm thinking of either doing a dressing recipie for the next page or hungarian sour cherry soup
