... because Soul Calibur III really has a lot of custom charactor options. It's nice to see a custom charactor feature that really allows you to get the image you want. The last custom charactor feature I've seen in a game just had an assortment of t-shirts, so this is really nice in comparison.
Sad thing is that gamefaqs already has two FAQs on the how to make licensed charactors subject. I don't know who would be so lazy or blind as to need a FAQ for such a thing, but I believe both have at least four ways to make a Cloud...

I heard some people have made Adol from the Ys games, as well as a few others.
I know the CVForum has made certain CV characters, such as Alucard and stuff...
...though they still end up looking just a li'l bit Generic.
I think you can get some good representations. What is really lacking in this, however, is any option for the body's shape or size. Every charactor has uniform height and build.
