Title: BEST CastleVania Block?
Post by: Nimrods Son on March 05, 2007, 04:16:29 AM
for the newbies: best level/ part of the castle?
I've for a long time wondered which level is the most popular amongst fans, since the real hero of most of the games seems not to be the people around in the castle, but the demon house itself!

Not only graphics do count, but also depth of atmosphere and story sequences. therefore, I open up 3 categories:

a) best "feeling" a block (i.e., level) provided to you, the player

b) best handheld graphics/ nicest optical features in a handheld Cv

c) best stomach-irritating effect in a 2D CastleVania

d) best background graphics in an 8-Bit-Cv (NES, GameBoy classic or home-brewed)

So, Angantyr chooses demutsvoll:

a) Cv 64: The Villa!
b) Cv Harmony of Dissonance: Marble Gallery
c) the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Cv Bloodlines/ New Generation
d) the mansions in Cv II: Simon's Quest

No, as a matter of fact, he didn't. 2 weeks, not a month or more.
