Title: A run-of-the-mill "Hello I'm new."
Post by: Brooklyn on March 03, 2007, 12:09:10 PM
I've been reading DMFA for a while, I put it down for a bit some time ago and then recently re-discovered it. Turnsky then persuaded I should join the forums. So...Hi.

Hello Brooklyn!  I've never spoken to a borough, before, how exciting!

Ah, a friend of Turnsky's. We should have known.

Out! Now!. Go on, we can't have your kind in here!

... well, ok, so you're much the same as the rest of us. In that case, have one typical greeting, along with the usual warnings etc, and make yourself at home.

... Not that much at home, get off Stygian's face. :-)

Welcome aboard.  I was going to ask if you were the same Brooklyn on the Foxfire forum, but you've pretty much answered that anyway.  No doubt the usual beware-of-the-following-people list will soon appear...

Hey Brooklyn, welcome to the party. Now, are you named after the coolest borough in New York or the coolest character on Gargoyles?

Coolest character on Gargoyles, of course! :D (Darn you Disney for not releasing the second disk to season 2!)

Either way, I very much approve. Anyone warn you about accepting gifts or advice yet? Either way, have this cursed parsnip and remember to avoid chibi dragons.

It's possible; I'm fairly sure that it's not possible to survive the pummeling the rest of us would deliver to the person who did it, though.

*appears in a flash of blue light*

Hi new person! Welcome to this place of strangeness.

Any sanity you have brought should be left at the door, in the secure storage provided, and remember to hang on to your claim ticket.

Avoid the muffin-bearing squirrel :rj , and be extremely cautious of llearch. (You don't want to know why.)

Have a welcome gift. *gives the new person a souvenir coffee mug*

Enjoy this place, where the insanity fun never ends!

*waves, and vanishes in a shower of coloured sparkles*

i can safely say, that after years of reading webcomics, and having his manhood crushed in one (http://foxfire.comicgenesis.com/d/20060331.html), i don't think he has much in the way of sanity remaining *nods*

VB? Ew. You could have said - I can whip up a shell script to get them all in ~5 minutes, or tar up my own copy and hand that over. *shrug* Either way...
