Put it under cold water for ten minutes.

Cold running water, if you can.

Once that's up, dry it off and see how you work out.

... Of course, by now it's rather too late for this info, but what the hey...

Well I have one question: WTF are you asking US? XO Shouldn't you be seeing a doctor?

Or you can just take Kenji's advice and get some aloe. Aloe solves everything. Besides, I burnt my whole arm once with hot soup, and I may've used that for the burns... but it was so long ago that I can't remember.

I would contribute with a humorous and whimsical picture, but alas, I have nothing.

On Feb 17th, Taski got burned by hot water.  After that he made a pact the the devil.  No one is sure how these two events are connected, but from that time one he was cursed.  From that day on he would wander the world as, Ghost Doggie!

Batter up! *attempts to swat the thrown taski with an oversized baseball bat*

notes on burns- do NOT apply butter or bacon grease to the burns. this is an oooold remedy that many people still do, and it dosent work. it will make your skin feel better but it actually causes tissue damage while slowing the healing process. while ice and cold water work fine to numb the pain and halt the tissue damage quickly they are not long term solutions, for long term treatment aquire an ointment or salve from your local apothacary which is labled for the treatment of burns, after applying to the affected area wrap it in bandages like a mummy and milk your injured image for all its worth while avoiding anyone who wants to poke you.

If it's a small burn use toothpaste to avoid blisters.

And from all the times I've burnt myself, I've found out that warm water works better than cold water.
