Has any one thought of an Inverted World Of DMFA? cause i thought of some cool invert pics for Dark Pegasus.
You're not talking about the Christopher Priest novel, are you? (Being very poor with mathematics I never quite understood what the circle distortion looked like)
Who??? I don't know any Chris person. I was talking about inverted colors and personalities of the Cast.

That makes more sense, I'll admit.

**EDIT**
(I might add that the novel is the #2 entry in Google, after some song)

Seems painful

I know. I'm just glad that they landed on her sleeve and breastbone, rather than further left.
Alexsi eyes look good in purple.

It's actually magenta, since that's what you get when you take the cyan plate out and rotate it 180 degrees. Surprising. I thought that someone here would get the Inverted Jenny reference (http://www.postalmuseum.si.edu/exhibits/2f1a_inverts.html), especially with that counterfeit showing up on an absentee ballot last November...

You say potato, I say it still looks good.
I like it. Is there any more to see in the Inverted world?
All you do is take a pic of a cast member of DMFA then go to paint and invert the color.
oh ok I will do that at home if I get the results I wanted it. Thanks
I did it with a Dark Pegasus pic.
I have not used it in anything though my comp crashed and I lost it.
try do do it again and put on here to see the results my computer is sucking slow there hopefully by tonight I have a couple to show you guys.
You act like it's a difficult process >_>
Well, it kinda is, if you don't want to colour the fur. I'm gonna be honest, Dan doesn't look good with blue fur.

My rarely-used (ever since 'awesome' became the new thing) sweet-o-meter just... well, okay, it didn't quite explode, but consider me an invert convert.
Nifty. Dan looks good in blue, although it's a bit too seafoam-y for my taste.

...dude, I am so using "awesometer" (oss-ohm-et-er) in a conversation now.
Mirror Universe? Just put goatees on everyone. And take away goatees on those people who already have goatees.
Or make them all bizarro like
Bizarro! I love you! Bizarro! I love you! (http://youtube.com/watch?v=7LHUhvoQTIU&mode=related&search=)
I met the Bizarro Amber...Sad though her hair was made of fire and things burned at the touch
no, that was the real amber. chances are she got acess to high grade coffe at that time.
bizzarro amber is a 500 pound slug who runs the biggest gang in the dessert and keeps chained bishounen furs in golden bikinis at her palace.

I want the inverted version where they DON'T WEAR CLOTHING :eager
thats not the inverse universe, thats the nudiverse universe. also beware, all the fat, ugly, old, and physically disfigured would also be nude.

Compare to the original:

Mainly the eyes...and ink blot (?)
that's a really vague color to invert >_>
Actually, it wasn't inverted, if it were it would have come out yellow/orange.
we're not talking about that type of inversion sir >.>
Then what are you talking about? ...Sir.
Stamps, sir.

So Bizarro Amber is a giant Pretzel, roaming the dessert planet of Arruckus assisting the freedmenmen in their quest to control the most valuable commodity in the universe, the beer?
Quote from: modelincard on January 19, 2007, 10:41:22 PMMainly the eyes...and ink blot (?)
The ink blot is actually her eyes--specifically the cyan in her eyes. Take the cast page image and rotate it 180 degrees. Alexsi's eyes should be where the ink blots are.
(those of you with art degrees may omit the following paragraph; you already know this stuff)
In older days, making full color prints involved putting a sheet of paper into multiple printing presses, one for each color. For images with many colors, the image is broken up into the three primary colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and a blacK layer (hence CMYK). The image is built up by running the paper through the four presses.
The effect suggested is that some careless printer has taken the image off of the cyan press and turned it upside down before taking it to the other three presses. It's a fairly common error, often difficult to detect, as in the Inverted Jenny (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inverted_Jenny), previously mentioned.
P.S. Gives new meaning to ``eyes up here.''
P.P.S. Need help quenching autofluorescence in nudibranch brain
Edit: A more obvious invert of the cyan plate which would certainly not make it past the printer would be this:

So with inverting you mean changing the color-value of the fur, the clothing and the eyes by 180°? Am I right?
I think that is the idea they are going for.

Quote from: Tiger_T on January 30, 2007, 02:51:14 PMSo with inverting you mean changing the color-value of the fur, the clothing and the eyes by 180°? Am I right?
Well, that's what I've been doing, but that was mainly intended to be a joke. What he's gothtk14 probably meant was to invert the colors (like in a photographic negative).
Confusing things even more is that if you rotate the gamut by 180°, you do indeed get something like a photographic negative (ideally). Unless you know what I'm talking about (and probably why I'm wrong), forget this paragraph.
I think I'll just write up a synopsis of what I did, why it's funny (or at least interesting), and step-by-step instructions for doing the same (http://www.needsfoodbadly.com/invertstuff/).
(I say in there that if I've forgotten to address something, please let me know. That means in the PM function or via the e-mail address right under my avatar, not in this thread.)
I like the explaination on this I should have something done soon. If I decided to be lazy that day.
