this is what don now. more are coming soon
Please remember to update into this thread, rather than making a new one every time.
Try to spell the names correctly as well. :P
Considering that two members of the Mod/Admin team posted and didn't say anything, I feel kinda silly for asking this, but shouldn't this go to the Tower?
Sprites look quite okay (even though the forum's auto-sizedown really takes the fun out of things initially) from what my untrained eye tells me. :mowsmile
Question, though. Where's the difference/line between material for and making the sprites? A small insight to the creation process would be nice... :)
The wings are too big. :P
And by now, I'm guessing that none of the mod team are overly concerned now about your username? /dense
Thanks for reminding, me, Roureem. *edits*
(note that this edit had been agreed about beforehand, we were just waiting for him to implement it)

Ah.. iffy. Probably, but it's DMFA related, so....
Well, they seem pretty good to me. I'll have to download them and zoom in to see the finer pixel details...
Personally, I like the Dan and Abel ones the most (good work on Abel's kilt, by the way--he looks so cute), although I'm gonna need to agree with Roureem Egas about the size of the wings. However, all of these are adorable, though it's hard to see the fine details on the Jyrras ones because of the size.

Call me negative, (not that i'm saying I wasn't before...) but some of them seem to just look like mods of existing sprites elsewhere. I just can't shake the deja-vu when I look at them, at the very least for the faces. Even their size makes it a bit suspicious to me.. (not that i'm ever not suspicious of something... damn those aliens in the government)
Ok, my friend lilacs has now joined the forum. he has asked me to say that he is happy to take any requests for sprite making and he will see what he can do. say hello lilacs!
Hello Lilacs.

Ooh, the spelling is MUCH better! :)
I'm just wondering what will happen when Doraion sees the new username...
As to the sprites, they're very detailed.
Those are neat, but I can't help thinking that Lorenda should be a little chunkier.
'Cause, you know she's a big fat cow (http://missmab.com/Comics/Vol_101.php).
Thanks, I'll redo Lorenda I had a feeling she was a little skinny.
no doubt. though in either case the sprites are way too small to tell some of those differences without a nice close up look anyway.
Hey blame Ace for the sprites I got them from him. I not even sure where he got them from, I just edit them.
These are what they look like befor I edit them.

my virgin eyes!
You sure your eyes are a virgin anymore?
Did I do something bad...
It was a joke, but now that you mention it, I'm not sure actually.
no. They're sprite bases, not little nudie pictures.
That's why I said I was joking >.>
Yes, but you still fail. :p
(not really, of course.)
but.. but i'll get better at it :<

Man, I wish you would have typed that before I went out and bought this magnifying glass.
talk to Darkmoon. He'll get you some quality links.
*nods*
You could edit on little penises and bewbs, but then Aridas would come in and call you not a real artist, and Netami would get all angtsy.
Permission to ROFL, sir?
Granted.

Rule 2, Section A.
Weren't you warned about being a rule-thumper?
Now I'm going to have to go check my list.
*edit* nope, that wasn't you. Although I would check rule 3 if I were you, Mr. "I've memorized and will quote all the rules"

Rule 2, Section A.
I'm sorry, were you posting in this thread? If anyone has come around to a thread, following others, technically that would be you. Odd...
Well, if you wanna have us act on that rule, I'm willing to.
I dont believe I was warned for being a "rule thumper." Regardless, in the future I will stick the report function if I feel as if you, or anyone, is breaking the rules but I doubt it's effectiveness after certain comments have been made.
Please clarify: It is alright to break rule 2, section A as long as you have been in a thread for awhile and thus the person responding to such comments is at fault.
No, Rule 2 Section A requires that the person being trolled have posted in the thread previously, preferably not long before the inflamatory post is made.
Trolling, as a definition, means that the Troller is following the Trollee. Otherwise it is just poking fun, which is a different cup of tea.
(and I did find the post I was looking for, and it was not you, sorry. I edited my post to reflect this)
And please, give me a break. We investigate all reported posts. Thus far, only one report out of roughly 40 has not been taken seriously, and it didn't deserve to be.
And when I asked as to why it wasn't taken seriously, for fear that you have a different standard by which people should be alarmed or offended, the thread was locked before I got an answer. Though Llearch did answer quite a few of my other questions, it still wasn't very clear whether or not the report function was for blatant rule breaking, such as racial slurs, or whether it extended to every complaint a person may have. The initial post regarding the report that was not deserved, it made it seem like you weren't really interested in the level of offense that someone could have had in that thread. I'm just trying to clarify things in that regard.
I'll have to learn to use this poking fun technique to my benefit, without being necessarily chastised. It seems cathartic. :rolleyes
Common sense is required. I would have hoped that people would have enough common sense to know how to use it, but obviously... some don't.
He means the report function, btw. Not the poking fun.
Isn't nudity automatically art? Just look at anything made by famous sculptors and artists. There's at least one nudie in there that was a big hit.
Nah, then you get into all sorts of pornography laws and definitions and such. And don't even get me started on the minutia child porn.
:kittencute
Let's return to the topic, ok?
