Hello all
Well this christmass I was watching a new special... the 2 part miniseries of the Hogfather.
During the show I fell in love...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnQh6QoRuBM
Isn't he just the cutest
Squeee
I wanna snuggle him to bits
*giggles*
...there's a Hogfather movie/miniseries? o.o *really not up to speed anymore*
But yes, CUUUUUUTE! (At least as cute as a tiny rat skeleton with a scythe can be ;))
SQUEAK.
(yes, thankyou superluser. I didn't do this since there's no smallcaps on the forum...)

Fixed that for you. (If you're going to do it, do it right.)
Edit: and yes, this Death is too cute!
Oh, haha, I get it. I was thinking you meant the cutest way to die. :lol

And thus the vague confusion of the English language continues
What'd to be confused about? "Death" is capitalized >.>

not to go off topic, but what reason should I have to prefer the one over the other?
Azureus ran fine on my P3 500MHz w/384MB RAM via Remote Desktop Connection.
I stopped using it because I couldn't be bothered reinstalling it. uTorrent ftw :)
that may be the cutest, but this one is the snazzyest singer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fczjCi73So8&NR
he even has backup singers
mein gott, odins eye, and yawehs hammer- i GOTTA see that whole move....as well as find a copy of the diskworld video game (1 and 2, im pretty sure i can find a copy of the board game 'thud' somewhere)
anyone care to help me on that?
QuotePolly shivered, and was aware that someone was walking beside her. She looked up and groaned. It was a tall robed figure, with a scythe.
"You're a hallucination, right?"
OH, YES. YOU ARE ALL IN A STATE OF HEIGHTENED SENSEBILITY CAUSED BY MENTAL CONTAGION AND LACK OF SLEEP.
"If you're a hallucination, how you you know that?"
I KNOW BECAUSE YOU KNOW IT. I AM SIMPLY BETTER AT ARTICULATING IT, said Death.
"I'm not going to die, am I?"
NO, BUT YOU WERE TOLD THAT YOU WOULD WALK WITH DEATH EVERY DAY.
"Oh...yes. Corporal Scallot said that."
HE IS AN OLD FRIEND. YOU MIGHT SAY HE IS ON THE INSTALLMENT PLAN/
"Do you mind walking a bit more...invisibly?"
OF COURSE. HOW'S THIS?
"And quietyly, too?"
There was silence, which was presumably the answer.
"And polish yourself up a bit," said polly to the empty air.
"And that robe needs a wash."
There was no reply, but she felt better for saying it.

It's more like "
SQUEAK". With a resonance that reminds one of ancient stone tombs.
Also, Death-of-rats is cool/cute, even if Death won't allow him to ride a cat.
Also, where can I get the whole movie / series?
Edit: never mind. I am currently 'acquiring' it through the magic of the internet. :pirate

I think you can order them from Amazon.co.uk (when it comes out), so long as you don't order a bunch. It'll be region 2, but you can always just by a cheap DVD player and set it to region 2.

Also keep in mind that not all US TVs easily handle PAL, unless I'm totally mistaken there. The older ones at least may have trouble, no clue about the newer models. Watching them on a computer (if the drive there is region-free or set to Code 2) doesn't have that problem, though.
On the other hand, Vidar appears to be in my time-zone, so he may be in the "Code 2 PAL" region, anyway. :P

I used to have a cheap less-than-20-inch TV, passed down from when my sister was in college (say, early 90's). It played PAL in black and white just fine. Then I got a Very Nice Flat Screen TV. It can't do PAL at all. I don't know, but I suspect that HDTVs can probably do PAL, too, just because it makes production costs lower to make only one model for the whole world.
DEATH OF RATS! WOOT!
I'd heard about a Hogfather movie, but I thought it was going to be in theatres. Is it all on youtube, or would I have to find it elsewhere?
It's on sky one in the UK at present.
I believe they're nigh on to playing the second half, or they've just finished, or something.
It may well show up on Free-To-Air sometime soon.

I noticed that. There seems something very wrong about Pratchett airing on a Murdoch-owned station...
I so enjoy an good (Eric)Idle Bones song
Ahem

You know, there's a rather strange synchronicity there. Jenova exerting her influence from her nearly-dead state in cryogenic suspension, and Ella Runciter doing basically the same thing...
makes you wonder exactly how much of it was the 'will' of jenova and how much of it was her kids were just plain messed up.
all my mother ever did was waylay travelers, stew them, and use thier bones to craft decorative items *holds up a lovely belt, handcrafted watch, and protective book cover*. comming from the swamp thats practically NORMAL that is. my daughter and i still visit her in the marshes every other week.
oh, and its important to get plenty of calcium in your diet to take care of all your wonderfull bones, usefull bones, decorative bones, and defenseive bones.

dont think so- grandad was in charge of guarding some tree with apples that were honey coloured, my sister had some kind of box nobody was allowed to touch, and my mother has a large collection of teeth and coins......i guess im the one who guards books, but ive never seen any like that even if a third of my books have gone missing after i moved.
