DMFA lost lake is located at Albatuata on Second Life- and has grown quite alot - ask either me on Minerava if you wish to place a vendor or add land - (theres a small block of land right next to us that would be perfect for a temple)

the reason nobody is usally there cause we're on at different times - i a m usally on in the mornings - and i know max and Min hang out there to - janus is sometimes there to - and our new guardian inuyasha is sometimes there to

so dont worry to much - hang around and usally someone well show up - there is also a inn house located at the back - which has rooms for people to rent out for 200l a month

Well, right now I have a whole bunch of crap to do for school so Im not sure how much play-time I'll get on SL.  Plus, by mom likes to nag me whenever i finally do get to get online so theres no say in how much time i will get.
I have to do over 5 10-page outlines of world history
I also have to make up results for my science fair project and do the board before the 20th of Dec.
I have to keep an 85+ in all my classes or else I'm screwed and right now i discovered i have a 69 in Pre-Ap Chem.
I HATE ALL THESE BLOODY AP AND PRE-AP COURSES!!!!!!!
other than that my life is going swimmingly :mowsad

Tried, their E-mail(s) don't reach my inbox.

I believe there are some ISP's that block SL's emails as spam, before they ever reach your inbox, so you won't be able to get them on that ISP.

Might have to create a yahoo mail account to use for them, those don't block things before they get to you.

The best way to get a good avatar is to buy and customise an existing vendor avatar.

Theres a lot of very good avatars out there.

For how much? I'm still very much looking for a place to set up.

Maybe I can celebrate Hathor's festival there as a New Year's kinda thing...there would be a lot of this:  :boogie and probably some of this:  :chrono1 and maybe even this:   :simon

Thanks for being there for me pal^^

I've made a new account *having discovered SL has a linux port now, and having forgotten mine* only to discover a problem...

I try to warp to Lost Lake, but there's a large area that I can't enter... and it looks to me like thats where Lost Lake is. I'm teleported to right outside this area. >>

Is the area group-restricted, and are you in the group? If not, that's probably why.  I don't know the specifics, but that's what it sounds like to me.  :B

The area is by no means group-only. It may have become that accidently, but I doubt it.

Hmm... If mature content is blocked as a standard, then thats probably it. I'll look into it >>

okay, so it seems i'm in Lost Lake, its just an area in the very center of the land is blocked off. >>

Title: Re: Second Life:Lost Lake
Post by: Silverfoxr on December 07, 2006, 05:13:14 AM
i took a few snapshots for those who want to see the new lost lake -  the majoirty of this was done by Me and Minerva - i tried to base it on what i remembered on much of the orginal furc one but most of it is orginal

the "here be cubi' sign - which came about from something abel said in the actual comic if you remember :D (the dragon in the corner is me i am in my christmas get up :)

the rebuilt inn - the signs were made by altre (got premission from amber herself to use these thre is also a tv inside that shows random comics - when people want to add stuff to it
(http://www.furfire.org/misc/SecondLife/llakenew2.jpg)

the hangout area - with dj and disco pad - the table was requested as on the orignal furc one there was a long table - and on request it was added
(http://www.furfire.org/misc/SecondLife/llakenew3.jpg)

The pool and vendor area - and thats my little tipjar in the corner :D
(http://www.furfire.org/misc/SecondLife/llakenew4.jpg)

Seraline's temple and the Swing chair and magic tree  (well i named it that :)

the cave and the lake - the struture int he middle is a shrine honoured to Alexsi th orginal creator of Lost Lake in Furcadia - the building at the back is the new inn where people can rent rooms to actually live there - its where i live on sl now to :)

the new inn and the fireplace lake campout and waterfall - on the side is Forestcat's treehouse as well :)

cause everyone is on at different time zones - Lost lake is usally empty - but when ya hang around long enough - people do show up - i am usally there in the morning - open the map and look for green dots - thats what i do - the area is quite big to - the warp acis at the moment can only be brought from sable dalaiz or the furantion skymall - i avoid furnation now its gotton to bad ><

Seeing as how I haven't logged into SL for some months now, I'm sure all my mall vendor leases have long since expired. However, thanks to my being too busy/lazy to sell my plot at the old Lost Lake complex in Charissa (southwest corner), there should still be a vendor there where you may invest in a cute but woefully obsolete warp-aci of your very own.  :mowcookie
