Title: Greetings!
Post by: Draksaith on October 19, 2006, 07:16:21 PM
Hi all!  With DMFA being my new favorite webcomic, I thought I'd join in the fun.

After reading all of DMFA in 7 straight hours, I just hope I have enough insanity to compete.  :)

You're borderline.

We'll make you welcome anyway, ok? I'm sure you'll catch up soon. :-)

Don't take the bookmark! I ended up looking for my hand for an hour and a half.

Friendly as always, as I see. Welcome, and have a few brownie points to start off with.

It says clearly on the back that you're not supposed to wrap it around your hand!

I would like to state that the actions of other members here are a special case. Normally, we are quite sane, collected, and rational.

Oh, who the hell am I kidding.

Yeah, in the finest bleedin' print ever! Not to mention I don't see that well in the normal light spectrum. And just look at these ordinations! "Warning: do not under any circumstances expose to alcohol", "Warning: keeping this bookmark free on your bedside table may result in loss of wits", and this; "exposure to several possessed bookmarks at once may cause rectal bleeding and hemmorhaging"! What?!

That was partially my doing. I believe I found the avatar for him...

Hi there! Welcome to the forums. I won't give you any advice, since by now you've (hopefully) learned not to trust most of us. However:

:ipod

I believe that this emote conveys all that I have to say about me at this time. If anything changes, I'll let you know.

So what happens when you wrap it around your head?

Well if he lost his hand when he wrapped the book mark around it, I think it's safe to assume that wrapping the bookmark around your head would be a generally bad idea. ;)

*appears in a flash of blue light*

Hi! Welcome to this place - a dimension of sight and sound, but mostly of mind.

Leave your remaining sanity at the door, in the secure storage provided, and hang on to your claim ticket.

Never believe anyone who claims to be completely sane - we're all insane here, only the degree of it varies. I like to think I'm one of the kind and relatively harmless ones.

Watch out for those muffins - they have a reputation (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/24346405/).

Have a welcome gift. *gives the new person a souvenir coffee mug*

Enjoy your stay.

*waves, and vanishes in a shower of coloured sparkles*

Skittering forth on a dozen short, tentacle-like legs or so, Stygian's head swoops by on the floor, a rolled-up bookmark stuffed down and perking up out of his left ear. The head stops at Draksaith's feet and stares up at him with the beady, fluorescent green little pupils of its otherwise black eyes. Then, it makes a start, and exclaims in a high-pitched voice;

"You forgot your hammer!" He makes a pause. "But it's allright... they make them from trees, don't they?"

The head swivels nervously on its "legs", and then speaks again.

"Yes."

Stygian's head swallows audibly, and then speeds out of sight.

Yes, Wallpaper from Minitokyo.com and edited by MSpaint... Goooo MSpaint!

On Stygian's post, I'd have to say thats probably from Record of lodoss war or some other obscure anime series.

*Edit* Aiyno's avatar is probably the cutest I've ever seen.

I can't leave the volume on a TV on an odd number unless it's divisible by 5. :T

For some bizarre reason, you can't set my TV volume to anything but an odd number.

On my radio the higher you set the volume, the lower the number it displays... figure that one out... :B

Same thing with my reciever for my TV and stereo.  I think it has something to do with decibel levels or something.

It's from David Firth's Sock series, episode 3: 10 different types of soup. You can watch it here; http://www.fat-pie.com/sock3.htm
