/me tilts his head at Sunspot, then suddenly waves a paw causing a bright light to surround Sunspot. When the bright light fades, Sunspot is covered in ribbons.

Hello and welcome to the forum, I'm Aiyno Wolf the guy with the kyota avatar. As I life and breath my sanity is debatable. Enjoy your stay and don't let the scary people frighten you.

*appears in a flash of blue light*

Hello! Welcome to this place - a dimension of sight and sound, but mostly of mind.

Leave your remaining sanity (if any) in the secure storage provided, and make sure to hang on to your claim ticket.

Have a welcome gift. *gives the new person a souvenir coffee mug*

Enjoy the insanity your stay.

*waves, and vanishes in a swirl of colours*

*sidles out of the basement* Welcome to the forums, oh little ray of sunshine. Heh, your name's fun to make jokes of. On that note, a few tips. Play nice with the other forumites, don't feed the mows, don't eat the muffins, no edged weapons, and don't trust anyone who simply sits and smiles at you for any length of time. And yes, I realize that having said that several people will sit and stare at you for the hell of it, but don't trust them anyway. Other than the above, anything goes. Have fun!

Hey all just finished reading through the DMFA archives and thought I'd come say hi!!

I did that too, only I read them backwards, about a year ago.  As a result I still have about 75% of the storyline burned into my memory..

Welcome aboard.

It was quite interesting.  The whole thing was a series of  "so that's what it meant..." revelations.
It sounds really strange now, but originally I was just trying to see what it was about.  It wasn't until about 100 strips that I actually started to get into it.  What I should have done then was start from the beginning.

I was also looking for this (http://missmab.com/Comics/Vol_Fools003.php), which I failed to find for a long, long time - once I'd decided DMFA was good, I wrote a little program to wget the strips sequentially, and thereby missed out on the guest strips.  I spent the next few days reading it forwards.
