And I'm glad you are thinking of yourself, Amber, and taking a break. Especially to see family that you haven't seen in over 5 years. The pandemic, I think, did a bigger number on all of us than we realized. Relax, try to enjoy yourself (heat might prevent that, but still), and come back with whatever you decide.
You are so much more important than just what you create for others, Amber. You deserve to take time to yourself, take care of yourself, and let things settle when they feel jumbled up around you.
I agree she shouldn't push herself or be concerned.
She does want to finish it and I'd be satisfied with some scripts for pages that won't be illustrated and a few illustrations personally.

Take all the time you need to rest and recover.
I sometimes suck with words, so all I can say is that you have always had value as a person first, period.
