Interesting that Tashatani thinks the Beings are being exploited, when it does seem to be less clear-cut than that. It's not perfect but it's more of a safe-haven than most places seem to be, even if the underlying reasons behind that could be better.
I'm curious what the "Rewanz outpost" is and whether she's aware that Abel Rewanz is someone her Lord recently mutilated...?
For that matter, I'm curious whether Abel is aware of it.
It really feels like a general trend is to treat Beings as a resource. Treating them as a valuable resource is... being pragmatic, better than treating them as physical or spiritual food. At least they're more valuable alive than dead in the latter case.
It stings just a bit less when you realize that the average Being won't care if they're seen as a resource, as long as they live a decent and safe life. Depressing? A little. But better than most of the alternatives.

I'm not convinced that Hizell's realm is somehow free of Being exploitation either.

I wonder if Hizell has Beings in his realm, or if it's all his Mythos. However, we
have also only seen females of that race, so it does bring up the question of reproduction. It's possible they reproduce with outside males and their genetics just guarantee another daughter, or they could reproduce through parthenogenesis like whiptail lizards.

The panel
definitely read as ironic to me, like she was unaware of just how well her criticism applied to her own home.
"So full of hostility" - Considering Hizell's territory has a 'death decree' for Cubi (https://missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1765.php), has an open bounty on Abel for simply being Cubi, and is sending monthly assassins at his son because said son rejects that genocidal attitude...
"Realize how exploited they are" - from the girl in the 'death cult' devoted to Hizell who know
damn well (https://missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1775.php) that he is throwing one of their lives away every month just to send his son an ineffectual message about how displeased he is that Pyroduck doesn't share his genocidal whims.
Sincere in delivery? Probably, but
very lacking in self-awareness.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Especially considering at least one dragon was willing to eat their souls en masse. So far as we can tell, THAT doesn't happen in Zinvth.
Rewanz outpost was probably named as a memorial for Abel's mom.

That's certainly possible. Another possibility is that she funded/sponsored it, given that her son was missing and possibly dead, and her husband definitely so. Aniz claimed that she'd been left with a substantial sum of money, so it's possible that she gave some of it to good causes.
