Strange that this should have been posted before Friday. Tapewolf must've wanted it in before he went to Scotiacon...

That was the plan since I had no guarantee I'd be able to post it at the convention

55-01 - Dress code violation

I see that smirk, Daryil. How close are we to the Professor making his fatal mistake?

Oh, he made that mistake years ago. Everything else is simply his refusal to course correct. :mwaha

55-02 - RubberGloveSeduction (preset 512 on the Oberheim OB6)

Meet Professor Fa'Rana, the closest thing 'Cubi have to a Puritan.

55-07 - "I just saw the flowers. Yay"- reaction on getting the line art

I'm getting major Lyutsifer Safin vibes right now.

Ya know, it occurs to me that if they were all born in the era of patronyms, they'd probably call him "Mr Jakob" to be polite.

55-08 - "Beware of the flowers, 'cos I'm sure they're gonna get you, yeah!" -Otway and Barrett

Soul-eating flowers. I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't that.

Yeah, free thermal neutrons (as opposed to neutrons travelling at a significant fraction of the speed of light) would react with nitrogen in the atmosphere within milliseconds.

n + ¹⁴N -> ¹⁴C + p

The proton would capture an electron and become hydrogen and the carbon-14 would eventually settle down to the ground and remain radioactive with a half-life of ~5730 years.

Well, that puts the kibosh on the Professor ever setting foot in his death garden again!

55-10 - Where have all the flowers gone?

Who knew irradiating a man's death garden would make him somewhat pissy? I suppose we'll find out later how this Epsilon Project is meant to advance 'Cubi supremacy.
