Title: 2025-10-03 DMFA 2163 - Horrors beyond your purplest imagination

So either the garden has a view outside to see a passing swarm of Mows or the window has a screensaver like Amber's old screensaver.

Either way, we're reminded when DP faces the dark grim dark future, he doesn't want his end to be cute. I wonder? Would the Mows consider DP to be inanimate matter? With him dying several times, would a Mow get mixed eat or hug signals from him?

I like the use of the word 'eldritch' in the title. One of my favorite fun linguistics facts is that eldritch originally meant that something came from fairyland, made by a combination for the Old English words for 'elf' and 'kingdom' ('Fae' also comes from the French word for 'elf').  Still with the connotations that it was creepy and terrifying, but that's fairies from legends for you.

I just get a smile when I see eldritch being used in connotations for the Fae instead of alien monsters/gods and wanted to share the relevant fun fact.

[Side Note/Disclaimer: There is some debate on this interpretation of where the word 'eldritch' comes from, some people think it just meant that something was just foreign in general, I'm not one of them, but I'm also not a professional linguist by any stretch of the imagination]

I think the mow swarm is a screen saver type option for the windows.  I don't think there's an actual Mow Swarm.

Because, yeah, an actual mow swarm is a disaster.  They eat almost anything, so they'd leave a lot of damage in their wake.  I think they don't eat living things though, just inanimate objects.

I also find it hilarious that Dark Pegasus is horrified by a mow swarm to the point that other horrors have become comprehensible in comparison.

So much for Aliph spending the evening undisturbed.

Regina refers to it as a background feature, so either the windows have a programmable aspect to them, or are entirely artificial
