Title: [Writing NSFW] Amai's New Job chapter 1 [09/09/2025]
Post by: Amai_Crimson on September 10, 2025, 12:10:44 AM
NSFW will include blood, death, some sexual content IE making out and a bit more nothing too bad still gonna say that though.

I also as well wanna thank Tapewolf who was gracious enough to let me do a fan fic of his fan fic. love the comic so much. Also story takes place somewhere between project future and Epsilon off in a town away from the major stuff. Only a few times will Dariyl show up to do anything

A cougar loitered outside the glass front doors of a large building, the steady bustle of foot traffic weaving around him as he paced on the sidewalk. He looked up and stared at the bold plaque over the entryway: "Jayhawk Cybernetics", and took a deep breath.
"I got this, I got this," he murmured. "It's just physical labor and only a few towns over, it's perfect!" With a fresh burst of confidence, he strode into the building.
The lobby was rather large, white tile floors with beige colored walls. A black leather sofa rested against the wall, a pair of matching chairs on either side of a coffe table. Stacked upon the table were numerous magazines.

The white-furred canine behind the desk looked up from her computer and gave Amai a once-over; his black dress shoes, grey slacks, a short sleeve white collared shirt, an untied black tie around his neck. The things that stood out the most were the forearm length, light green, fingerless cloth gloves he wore. She politely offered: "Yes, can I help you?"

"Um...yes," the cougar ventured, "Amai Crimson for the 12 o'clock interview with Mr. Ausmann." He fiddled with his tie a bit.

Looking on her computer she curtly nodded: "Alright. Well he is in a meeting, but it should be over in a few minutes, 10 at most. Take a seat in the meantime. Also.." she coughed and nodded her head towards the bathroom; "if you wanna freshen up."

Amai looked at her then the bathroom, nodded his head: "oh, thank you" before heading in there. Walking in he came up to the sink to look himself over in the mirror. Standing at 6'1 he brushed over his shirt and pants, trying to get the wrinkles out. Having to walk to this job interview had ruffled his clothes up; his long cougar tail swayed slowly behind him, long tan color with an extra fluffy black tail tip. While he stared downward trying to knot the tie correctly, his shoulder length lavender hair swung right into his face "Dangit."

Moving his hands into his pockets, he fished out a black hair tie, pulled his hair back into a ponytail and secured it with the hair tie. "There." his violet eyes looked himself over once more. "The tie is the best it will get, maybe he won't care. I am a physical laborer, so won't need a tie." He looked up to his ears. They were pointy, unusual for a cougar; even more unusual were the small flames, one on each ear's tip. "Okay, guess I'll go wait."
Heading out of the bathroom he went to the sofa and sank into one of its pillows.

As he waited Amai's gaze wandered over the magazine covers. Usual stuff about Jayhawks corporation as leading tech company. Some home and garden mags and then- what in the world?
He grabbed up the last magazine "Latex and PVC", all about clothing made from the stuff. On the front was a male black wolf wearing white latex pants that hugged him a little too well. On his arms were some white latex gloves, with the caption: "Is white latex in this season?"
Amai's face blushed a bit feeling his face burn, before his attention was caught by the front desk lady's call: "Mr. Crimson?" The cougar hastily dropped the magazine and whipped his head around, hoping she hadn't noticed his interest in it. "Mr. Ausmann will see you now. Down the hall, first door on your left." she said smiling softly. "Good luck."

Amai crossed the lobby and headed down the hall, where he found the door; a gold plated nameplate reading Lead Researcher of RD. Kristofer Ausmann. Knocking on the door, he pushed it open once he heard a voice saying to come in.

The room was pretty basic, same white tile floors as the rest of the building, the walls though were a light blue color. In the room sat a single oak desk, papers stacked on it along with a white mug filled with coffee.  In front of the desk was a single chair for clients and others, on the other side was a very nice leather desk chair. Sitting in it was an Arctic wolf with short black hair; his eyes never looked up from the papers as he used a hand to straighten his reading glasses. His outfit was a white lab coat, under it a crimson dress shirt complete with a black tie.

Taking the seat across from Mr. Ausmann, he breathed in and out slowly to calm himself. "Hello, Mr. Ausmann."

The wolf didn't bother to look up. "Hello Mr. Crimson. I'm going over your papers again, seeing the meeting went a bit long. Wanted to be sure I had everything in order."
Amai cleared his throat to reply: "Amai would be fine, sir." He fidgeted a bit, unsure what else to say.

"Let me see here, says here you live in Aston?"
Amai sat straight in his chair. "Yes, I don't live too far away, and I know the town is a bit away but, it has a living facility so I wouldn't need to travel."
"You have been doing some physically demanding jobs as well." The wolf spoke deliberately, keeping his eyes on the papers.
The cougar breathed in: "Yes, construction for a little bit, as well help with clearing parts of forest for expansion. Even working on farms around my town."

Finally emerging from his papers, Mr Ausmann looked over the cat till something caught his eye. "Mr Cri- I mean Amai... your ears appear to be on fire." He got up revealing his tan pants and walked around his desk to the cougar.

Amai's eyes widened a bit before he reached a hand up to them. "Oh um, no it's fine. I'm half dem.." he stopped himself covering his mouth with both hands, before feeling Mr. Ausmann's hands come up to grab his tie. "I.."

The artic wolf ignored this protest: "Your tie isn't right. Let me fix it," he said moving his fingers to properly tie it, then looked at the cat who was now visibly shaking. His voice softened: "Relax, I've talked with your prior employers and they said only good things about you. Showed up on time, worked overtime. Never complained." He leaned back on the desk, crossing his arms over his chest. "Whether you be a half demon or not, means nothing to me. I need a good worker no matter who or what they are. And since this job requires carrying around the chassis of our panther security units, which each weigh close to a motorcycle's weight? You being half demon will come in handy."

Amai was a bit embarrassed to feel his tie get redone, but hearing how the employer didn't care what he was and even appreciated what he could do, he smiled some: "Oh thanks, it's just... some people like to jump to conclusions. It's why I could only get jobs at my hometown. Everyone knew me so didn't worry." Thinking on the job details he smiled widely: "Only one motorcycle? That sounds easy enough, done similiar like moving logs around or on construction sites." He paused, realising what that sounded like. "Not...not that I'm bragging," he added rubbing at the back of his head.

Mr. Ausmann nodded his head chuckling at the last part: "Well, nothing wrong with that. Now then, Amai... I have a question for you, and please be truthful. How would you react to working with six to seven incubi? I ask because, as you pointed out, people like to jump to conclusions."

As Amai thought it over, his tail tip flicked back and forth."I see no issue, my father has a friend who is an incubi and practically an uncle to me. Just like demons have reps, so do they, I know. But if they are nice to me, why would I care if they were an Incubus or even a being?"

Staring at the cougar in thought, Mr. Ausmann listened nodding his head. "Excellent way of looking at it." He held out a hand. "So Amai, would you be able to start in a week? Also, enough with the 'Sir'. Call me Mr. Ausmann, if need be."

Amai sprung out of the chair, grabbed the wolf's hand in his and shook it energetically. "Thank you Si... Mr. Ausmann, I will do my best! I'll pack and tell my dad, he will be so happy, finally he can go on vacation and let me pay for stuff" He rambled on, before heading off.
As soon the door shut, Ausmann could hear Amai celebrate outside. He couldn't help but grin at the young man's very childlike gushing.

After traveling back home, he walks up to his small wooden cottage - two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and a small family room. Opening the entrance door, he could hear his dad in the kitchen shuffling around in the fridge for a snack. Striding into the kitchen, Amai beamed as the older male noticed him finally. His dad was about a full foot and a half shorter than him, an Iberian lynx with short bright yellowish spotted fur. Atop his head were a pair of large pointed ears with fur tufts on the tips. Wearing nothing more than a loose fitting green shirt and a pair of slacks, his bare feet showed the furry paw pads he sported.
"Dad, I did it!"

The lynx, who was crunching on a pickle, stopped mid-chew upon hearing the news. Rushing across the floor, he grabbed Amai and lifted him with relative ease, showing more strength than his body suggested. "OHHHH I just knew you could get that!" he squealed in a spray of pickle juice while the cougar flailed around. "Gonna be quiet around here without you around though," he said setting his son down.
Amai calmed feeling his feet on the floor again "Hahah! thanks dad. I will miss this place too, you know that, but. I gotta get something more sustainable than the occasional local job. Help pay for things and let you finally retire and relax."

Looking at him, the dad chuckled some, faking a hurt pride. "Oh I see, I'm too old huh? I got plenty of energy for years to come."

Amai shook his head: "No, not the point. You should be able to take a vacation and not worry for a bit."

Pulling Amai in, the dad patted his back some. "I know, son. Promise I will take it easy, only if your job lasts more than a month. Just to know you got settled in and they wanna keep you. Afterwards I'll plan a vacation."
Leaning down Amai laid his chin on his father's forehead, letting out a sigh of content. "Thanks dad..."
The lynx spoke into his son's neck: "You should go see your aunt and uncle too, up in the mountains." He then looked Amai in the eye. "Now then, when do you start?"
"Oh... I start in a week. I gotta get packed and moved in by then. You know the owner of Jaytech, Mr. Ausmann? He asked if I'd have trouble working with any incubi or others."
Hearing that part made the lynx's ears twitch some. "Glad he gave you a heads up. Now lets get something to eat. We got a few days before you need to head there so we can get as much father and son time in as we can."

*Later that week [fast forward]*

"Alright dad, this is it... my ride to the place I'll be working and living." Amai pointed to the jade colored hippogryph who was pulling an enclosed carriage. Before he grabbed his bags he grabbed hold of his dad, lifting him up into a tight hug. "Gonna miss you so much. I'll call you the moment I get settled in, okay?"

Feeling his legs dangle as Amai held him up, the lynx kissed his son on the forehead, gasping: "I look forward to hearing from you, kiddo. Now can you put me down? I feel like an oversized stuffed animal when you do this." He chuckled, then feeling his feet on the ground again looked at Amai. "Good luck...now get going you are going to miss your ride."

After setting his dad down, the half-demon grabbed his bags and settled inside the carriage, which started to move away. Once they got to the forest line, he leaned out the window yelling behind: "Love you dad, I'll call when I get settled in."
Not having to be dressed up, Amai was just wearing a slightly oversized white t-shirt, a pair of black Chinos cloth for the fabric and loose around his legs. His feet were bare, figured he would put on shoes once he got to town.
As the carriage continued on its way he leaned back, this vehicle wasn't top of the line but had cushioned seats and a roof against the weather. Putting his feet up on the seat, he relaxed further. "Guess I should nap till I get there, take a bit anyways." He brought his arms behind his head like a pillow and shut his eyes.

When the carriage reached Mirefield where he would be working, he was stirred awake as it came to a stop. A loud pop could be heard from Amai's back as he stretched, starting to put his shoes on finally.
The door opened and he stepped out; this city named was huge compared to where he had grown up. Amai looked up at the buildings and the people walking around; some had wings, others were mythos of all different kinds. Gathering his things, he thanked the hippogryph before walking off to find his new workplace.

After about twenty minutes of searching and asking around, Amai finally made it there. He was told to come to the loading dock; making his way around the building, he came upon it.
He took a look around before walking up to the door and knocking. "Hey, anyone in there? I was told to come here to start work..."
A few minutes went by before the door eventually clicked open. Walking inside, Amai didn't see anyone at first.

Inside the dock was pretty bare; after all, it was needed for deliveries and shipping, nothing else. The only notable thing was its small size, but it probably wasn't a very busy dock and so didn't need a large area.
A chuckling could be heard as a figure was coming up to Amai with their tail swaying behind them. The person stood maybe a good five foot six, sand colored fur with a pair of huge ears atop their canine head with short white hair.
The fennec fox was still chuckling before rising up to their tip toes to look over Amai better. "Soooo, you're the new help huh? Well don't stand around, let me introduce you to the others. My name is Jason by the way," he chirped staring at Amai with light blue eyes.

Looking at the fennec fox, Amai's mind was racing. They wore a pair of black latex pants that hugged their small frame. On their feet were a set of shiny black boots, obviously made of PVC. They had no shirt on, just a white labcoat open to show off the lithe frame - a male. Atop his head were a pair of small black wings nestled neatly by his large ears, revealing his cubi nature. As Amai's eyes looked him over he couldn't help but think the guy was quite adorable. ~Oh gods, why is he so cute.~ Amai had no mind shield up; the one incubus he considered an uncle the most, had told him they don't read minds.
He managed to shake himself free of the little guy's charm. "I'm sorry, yes, please show me around. I'm the new heavy laborer. Amai Crimson."

Jason, true to cubi ways, had paid no mind to Amai's thoughts till he heard cute, at which point his tail swished. Turning away, he got an evil smile on his face thinking to himself ~Oh man, gonna have so much fun teasing him. If he thinks I'm cute, wait till he meets the others.~ Walking up the stairs he used a keycard to open the door and held it open for the new guy.

Inside was a long hallway, a door on the right side at the end read "storeroom". The door to the left didn't have a sign, probably leading to other areas of the building. As they walked down the hall to go into the store room, a busy tail could be seen peeking out from behind a box. The sounds of a hammer hitting something were accompanied with a few curse words on occasion.

As they came around the box, there stood a red fox, around five foot eight inches, slightly taller than most foxes Amai knew. Wearing a white labcoat, one couldn't see if they had a shirt on or not; they wore a pair of loose fitting blue jeans, with a white tennis shoes. Their hair was pulled back into a pony tail, bright blue hair with black tips; their headwings were red and black in color.
A hammer swung back and slammed down against a wooden crate. "Open you stupid piece of crap, I need the materials inside," they muttered.

Jason walked over and grabbed the hammer before it could be lifted off again. "Stop that. We have our new laborer. Say hello to him." He pointed at the cougar, setting the hammer down on a work station.

The fox came out fully grumbling, he had a black dress up shirt under his labcoat, and on the side of his neck was a glowing yellow tattoo. "Well fine, maybe you can open that box then. I need those materials to finish my project and this is taking forever." He then stared Amai up and down. "Welcome aboard. Your first task is... open that box I was beating on," he said and crossed his arms tapping a foot, hazel eyes watching Amai closely.

Amai set his bags down hearing that. "Oh...right, sorry. Right away, sir."
He went over to the box, about four foot high and just as thick. A bit of the wood was broken away thanks to the earlier hammer blows. "Right, easy enough." He extended his right hand, finger tips extended with claws which he sunk into the wood. They went through like a hot knife through butter. Using his left hand to steady the box, he yanked back his right arm; tearing the front off the box as if opening a can of tuna. "Here you go sir," he said taking the torn piece and set it to the side.

The fox witnessing that feat had his jaw drop almost to the floor, then recollected himself. "Well... you only got it cause I loosened it up for you." Grumbling some more, he went over to the box to get his stuff. "Thanks though... they won't let me use my wings to break open boxes anymore. Makes too much of a mess, and I damaged some circuit boards one time. The name is Richard." After getting the parts out, he leaned down to pick up a clipboard in front of Amai. "See you later."

Jason walked with Richard to the door, leaning in to whisper to him: "Can you get the other guys to, hum, put on a show for Amai? I wanna see something."
Richard nodded as he went out the door. Jason looked back at Amai. "Well, come along! Time to meet the others."

"Oh right. Lead the way, Jason" Amai said walking over to him, then they went through another door that read "Lab".

Jason guided Amai around the place, pointing as he spoke: "So as you can see, this place isn't that big. It doesn't need to be, as we only make the one product. Over there is where we work on the electrical components, and over there is where we do the welding and other things of that nature." As they walked along Jason also filled Amai in on what he would be doing: "So what you will be doing is helping move the giant chassis for the panther's, unloading crates of stuff we order such as circuit boards, metal and other things." he thought some more smirking "Moving from room to room to see if anyone needs anything. Oh and loading the products when they need to be shipped out. Hope you are ready to work."

As they walked along Amai paid attention to Jason as he pointed the places out and explained what he would be doing "Oh of course, did construction and helped with harvest stuff so will work till the job is done." Coming around a corner with Jason there was a tail high in the air as a figure was bent down picking things off the floor
