I hope this means that Mab is recovering from the Cactus Incident.

				OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF!
I aspire to one day approach Aliph's level of blunt honesty.
The world needs more of it.
I think what made it more tolerable than Regina's conversations is that it ended quickly.

Aliph really prefers others being direct and to the point.  :mowhappy

I'm guessing that the conversation isn't quite the same without the directness and the threats..

Tolas once again caring about Regina more than their father does.
I wonder how much of his distrust of Aliph comes from being his father's son. Aliph chose to go after H-ann rather than try to claim Zinvth for himself, so I think it's possible that Malle's ego plays a role in what Tolas believes about Aliph as well.
I wonder if we'll find out more when we approach / reach the point in the comic where Abel reunites with Ahnora, given that Aniz's actions were apparently what disgraced the Soulstealers.

There may be another aspect as well -- What is the threat of death to someone who has died a few times already?
Better to let a person who clearly cares but cannot claim they care go on a momentarily unhinged rant like this to see their mettle, and gauge what safeguards may or may not needed if that bridge needs to be burnt.
After all, it isn't like they did this, then came back and went 'AND ANOTHER THING!!'
This was pretty succinct, fast, and got all the information out.
Have to agree with above assessment, Aliph is probably appreciative of the speed.

I mean, he does have a way to make the mundane sound dramatic.
I will reach you... BY MAIL OR BY MESSAGE!
Gonna have to note that down.
