Title: 2025-07-16 DMFA #2159 - Trust issues

If trust is considered a negative trait in Demons, even within their own family, this might be why they can't seem to build cities of their own.

Demon pride, baby.

I have to wonder how much of this is normal Demon behavior vs a grudge match between the Soulstealers and Darkbloods specifically. Regina's parents trusted Kria to look after her, so the rivalry seems to be with Aliph specifically.

Yeah, this explains a lot about why demons don't seem to be interested in doing anything constructive.

I dunno if this is demon pride or even young demon stupidity.

I'm thinking about how twisted Regina's viewpoints have been from reality, and how Aliph's "boring realism" has helped ground her.  Tolas may have been the golden child, but I sincerely doubt that spared him the effects of being raised by such seemingly shallow, narcissistic people.

That could also be a factor, that side of the family seems to lean heavily into performative sterotypical demon stuff as a unit
