Title: 2025-01-27 - DMFA #2148 -- Not gonna be that easy, Ducky!

The feather in Pyro's hair seems VERY prominent in this page.  Especially considering it hasn't even been visible for... at least since Amber had to go to full-digital arting, looks like.  Me wonders if it'll be brought up shortly.

Given that Wildy is practically chasing Pyroduck to say all of this, I'd say it was completely necessary for her to get this off her chest.

It's obviously been eating away at her ever since it happened.

Kind of a belated thought, but I guess this could be seen as a pretty good example about how a bad experience could leave a long-lasting impact one one's psyche, regarding how their brain thinks of a group.

...I had a less-than-friendly wake-up call to the fact that the LGBT+ community is a thing, almost 20 years ago.  It STILL affects me, though the fact that it's sort of been reoccurring - even seeing it done to others - hasn't helped. ^.^;  Depending on context, the anxiety can sometimes get bad enough that it can be paralyzing.

...Experiences like these pretty much are pretty much why I dislike the way a lot of people use "-phobic." 3'=

...That's about all I feel like I'm able to say.  ...Or dare to say right now. ='D;;;

As a fridge magnet of mine says:

homophobia.
Its's not a phobia.
You are not scared.
You are an asshole."

Her sad adorableness brings back memories of the past days when people used to ship Dan and the murder ferret. This strip seems to show they weren't entirely wrong in their observations that Wildy does care for Dan.

Used to. Heh. Matilda came from a culture where MFF relationships are the norm, and I haven't noticed anything in the comic to indicate that her opinion on the matter has changed. Wildy is officially A-Ro and implied to be Bi. A drunken threesome (actually being drunk is optional, but highly likely on Dan's part) is on my Endgame Bingo Card.

I think Wildy will pass out before anything can happen in a "potential threesome with Dan and Matilda" situation.

I also think that Wildy's husband will either be a reasonably cool guy, or someone hilariously unexpected.

>.>  Also Wildy DID get "married" to Dan when they were kids.  Though that wasn't official and the cake was mud pie, if I remember correctly.

I too want to speak, but I already left the Discord server after an attempt to defend *redacted* got really viciously gaslight-y and "you think this because I say you do because I say so!" regarding a variety of things.

I find it hilarious we just got a huge info dump and it came in the form of nonconsensual exposition.

Same. It is clear that Wildy needed to vent, having bottled all this up for far too long.  :mowsad
