The answer does often depend on who is asking the question, e.g. people tend to tell a king what they want to hear, and DP's looks are certainly against him.
It's quite likely that if you're accosted by a random demon asking questions, you'll tell them whatever it takes to make them go away.
Maybe starting with "Excuse me" rather than "You." would have got better results?

I'm loving the Regina and Aliph arc and this is the most adorable one yet! Amber took two of the most disagreeable characters in the entire comic and made them relatable, and I dare say it, even likeable.
