Well, despite the setback caused by Dan being unable to absorb a lifetime's worth of 'Cubi ettiquette in the few months since he formally became one, this outing seems to have had the desired effect in that it's made life seem worth living for Cyra.
Pity about Aary, though - she went along hoping to learn lost history about the clan, and came away maimed. Still, maybe she can get the juicy details of Hishaan from Dan if she asks him nicely enough. More people deserve to know about the soul-eating city angle (not that it excuses her for wanting to eat M'Chek in the first place).
